Carry these documents every time, for both Prelims and Mains. Do not assume one stage needs less paperwork than the other.

• One valid, original, government-issued photo ID — Aadhaar card, PAN card, passport, voter ID, or driving licence. A photocopy alone will not work.

Centres run a biometric scan at both entry and exit. Anything that triggers a second check at the metal detector eats into your buffer time before reporting closes.

Reporting Time and Entry Rules on NORCET 11 Exam Day

Reach the centre at least 45 minutes before the reporting time written on the admit card. Late entry is not allowed once the gate closes, and this rule is enforced strictly at AIIMS centres. 1. Attempt every question you are fully sure of in the first pass.

• Missing admit card or unclear detail on it: Carry a photocopy of it or a second valid photo ID as backup and report the issue to the centre in charge before the exam starts, not after.

• Feeling unwell during exam: Inform the invigilator right away. Centres are required to have basic first-aid arrangements.
