Only NEET PG exam qualified candidates are eligible to take part in the AFMS PG admissions. Registration for AFMS PG medical 2024 will be conducted online at mcc.nic.in. When applying for the AFMS 2024 PG medical program, aspirants need to provide their personal, academic, registration, internship, and other details. Candidates are also required to provide their preferences for colleges and specializations they wish to enrol in.
A total of 352 candidates will be admitted through the AFMS PG medical admission 2024 for Doctor of Medicine (DM) and Masters of Surgery (MS) seats. Following the choices filled, the number of seats available, the NEET PG result 2024, the reservation criteria, and other details, the AFMS PG medical admissions will be granted. According to different priorities, the authorities have distributed the admissions seats available for AFMS PG medical 2024. Applicants should note that counselling for different priorities will differ as well. Also, the eligibility criteria for AFMS PG 2024 will vary depending on the category.
1. Priority I - AFMS Officers detailed on advance specialist course/other courses as per guidelines of NMC/ NBE.
2. Priority II - Foreign candidates who are sponsored by the Government of India. Such candidates will be accepted on the approval of Ministry of Defence/DGAFMS/Ministry of External Affairs
3. Priority III - Medical officers sponsored by Parliamentary Forces or other organisations of the Government of India. For these candidates, it is mandatory that they furnish sponsorship certificates with subjects for sponsorship by the authority to be considered for counselling
4. Priority IV - This category is of officers who are ex-servicemen and have completed their contractual service Candidates in this category of priority can apply only if they have completed their contractual service or before the last date mentioned in the official brochure. This does not apply to candidates who resigned/dismissed/removed from their services
5. Priority V - Civilian doctors who fulfil the eligibility criteria and are ready to serve AFMS for a duration of five years after having completed the course are eligible under this priority. Doctors under this category have to sign a bond of INR 53,00,000 to the Government of India for AFMS PG 2024 medical admission, the value of which will be increased every year by Rs1.5 Lakhs to a maximum of Rs. 60.5 Lakhs. The bond value will remain at Rs. 60.5 Lakhs till such revision takes place.
For candidates to qualify for AFMS PG medical admission 2024, certain requirements must be met. AFMS PG eligibility criteria have been provided for the candidate's reference in the following points
Nationality - Candidates must be Indian citizens. This does not apply to Priority II category candidates
Age - There is a specific requirement in the age category for Priority V candidates only. Such aspirants must not be more than 35 years of age as on the specified date.
Degree - It is essential for all the candidates to possess MBBS degree from a recognised institution
Registration - Candidates must be holders of permanent or provisional registration certificate issued by the Medical Council of India (MCI) or State Medical Council (SMC)
Qualifying examination and percentile - As aforementioned, admissions will be granted on the basis of NEET PG score, thus candidates must secure minimum NEET PG 2024 qualifying percentile as mentioned below.

Applications for AFMS 2024 PG medical courses will be available at mcc.nic.in. Prospective students will be required to register online through centralised counselling to be admitted to the said institute. The authorities will conduct counselling for 50% All India Quota, Central and Deemed Universities, and AFMS institutions. To be eligible for participation in the counselling process, candidates must submit the AFMS PG 2024 medical application form. A fee of INR 1000 will have to be paid by candidates after completing the AFMS PG 2024 application form.
Authorities will release priority-based lists of AFMS PG 2024 medical merits. Those candidates whose names appear on the list will be eligible to participate in centralised counselling. AFMS PG 2024 medical merit list will reflect the rank of candidates, and the latter will be used to select candidates for counselling. DGAFMS will release five merit lists so that every candidate will have a separate merit list based on their priority. In each merit list, AFMS PG medical counselling 2024 details such as venue, date, and timing will be mentioned
MCC will be conducting the AFMS PG 2024 medical admissions based on merit cum preference in offline mode. All applicants are required to register themselves on the official website of MCC. NEET PG applicants who will qualify 2024 and will be listed on the merit list will be called for medical counselling. Several documents are required to be submitted by candidates at the time of counselling; details of these documents are listed below.

According to AFMS PG medical admissions regulations, prospective students must meet certain conditions to qualify for admissions. However, it is essential to note that simply meeting the below requirements does not guarantee admission to the said college.
AFMS PG 2024 medical admission is provisional and subject to ratification/confirmation by the university concerned and the office of DGAFMS
Selected candidates have to furnish additional documents required for medical admission to AFMS PG
Candidates must note that Commandant of the college’s decision in regard to admissions will be deemed final and binding
Aspirants are advised to keep their NEET PG 2024 admit card and registration slip safely and with multiple printouts till admission is granted to them.
Under Priority V, civil aspirants will have to sign a bond for AFMS PG 2024 medical admission. The following information is provided:
Priority V candidates will have to sign a bond to serve as Short Service Commissioned (SSC) Officer for a tenure of five years with the Armed Forces Medical Services. Failing to do so they will have to pay an amount as sanctioned by the Government of India
The authorities will upload the format for the bond money on their official website, candidates are advised to go through the same. It is to be noted that the authorities concerned have full rights to make amendments in the bond amount at any time and if need be candidates will have to furnish new bonds to the Commandant of the college in which they take admission
Candidates will have to execute the bond in non-judicial stamp paper and register/notarise with the office of sub-registrar. They have to submit the same on the day of counselling at the counselling venue.
Any expense incurred in the due process has to be completely borne by the candidate himself, the authorities would not be responsible for reimbursement.

Talking about the things that you need to carry to exam hall is Personal transparent water bottle, small hand sanitizer (50 ml), original copy of NEET 2025 admit card and an identification proof are allowed in the NEET exam.
