NEET PG Merit List 2019 – The National Board of Examinations (NBE) has released the NEET PG 2019 merit list on March 6, 2019, for 50% All India Quota seats. As per the official notice, Individual scorecard of the candidates will be made available on the official website of NBE from 10 March onwards. The rank lists will be the basis for admission to government and private colleges. The state counselling authorities will be issuing their own merit by using NEET PG merit list 2019 published by NBE. NEET PG merit list 2019 has been published in PDF format which can be downloaded by candidates. The rank list mentions the category, NEET PG rank, All India Quota rank and All India 50% quota category rank of the candidates. The eligibility-cum-entrance exam of NEET PG 2019 was held on January 6. The NEET PG result was declared on January 31, while NEET 2019 score card is available from February 6. NBE will release a separate notice intimating about released of the NEET PG merit list 2019. Candidates who will qualify the exam by securing the minimum qualifying percentile will be included in the All India 50% Quota Rank.

Types of NEET PG Merit List 2019
Roll No. wise All India NEET PG 2019 Rank – This merit list will include all the candidates who have appeared for the entrance exam. All the candidates will be allotted a rank irrespective of their qualifying status.
All India 50% Quota Rank – This merit list will only include the candidates who have qualified the exam and are eligible for admission to 50% All India Quota seats. Candidates who have a domicile of Jammu and Kashmir state will not be included in this merit list.
All India 50% Quota Category Rank- This is the category-wise merit list in which candidates are assigned ranks as per their category (OBC/SC/ST). This NEET PG merit list 2019 will be valid for admission to 50% All India Quota seats only.
State Quota or Union Territory Overall and Category-wise NEET PG Merit List 2019 - The state or union territory’s counselling conducting bodies will be releasing their separate merit list using the NEET PG merit list. These bodies can allot state merit rank to the candidates. These merit lists will be used for admission to respective state government and private colleges.
NEET PG Merit List 2019 – Tiebreaker Criteria
If the merit score of two or more candidates is equal, then the tiebreaker criteria are used to resolve the tie. The following parameters will be used in the given order to break the tie-
Less negative responses - Candidates with lesser number of negative responses in the NEET PG exam (Part A, B and C) will be placed at higher rank in the merit list.
Higher marks in Part C - Aspirants securing higher marks in Part C will be allotted better merit rank.
Less negative responses in Part C - Students who have marked lesser number of negative responses in Part C question paper will be given higher rank.
Higher marks in Part B - Aspirants securing higher marks in Part B will be placed at a better merit position.
Less negative answers in Part B - In case, the tie still persists, then the less number of negative responses marked by aspirants in Part B will be considered for merit rank.
Higher marks in Part A - If the tie still exists, then the candidates securing higher marks in Part A will be allotted higher rank.
Less incorrect responses in Part A - Aspirants with lesser number of wrong answers in Part A will be included in the merit list.
Age - At last, the candidate elder in age will be given a better merit position.
In order to be included in the All India 50% Quota Rank List candidates will be required to secure the NEET PG cut off 2019. The cut off is the minimum required percentile to qualify the exam which can be checked below in the table-

NEET PG Merit List 2019 – Salient Features
The merit list of NEET PG 2019 published by NBE will be made available in the second week of February (tentatively).
No individual communication will be made to candidates regarding the issuance of NEET PG merit list 2019.
Only those candidates who are included in the All India 50% Quota Rank List will be eligible to participate in the counselling for 50% All India Quota seats and the seats available in AFMS Institutions.
The state authorities will be using the NEET PG merit list 2019 released by NBE to prepare the state merit list.
Candidates belonging to Jammu and Kashmir state will not be considered for admission to 50% All India Quota rank.
NEET PG 2019 is a national level eligibility cum entrance exam for admission to MD/MS/PG Diploma courses. The counselling process will start on March 15, 2019. In the previous session, a total of 1,28,917 candidates appeared in the exam.
