According to the latest update, the authority has announced Assam NEET 2024 counselling stray round seat allotment result. Candidates need to report at the allotted institutes till November 4, 2024 to complete the admission process. A link to download stray round seat allotment result is provided below.

The merit list for Assam MBBS admission includes aspirants who are Assam residents and achieved a minimum NEET qualifying percentile. In addition to names, the list contains NEET scores and percentiles, NEET rank, and state merit rank of candidates qualified for the medical entrance exam and residing in the state permanently, For admission to 1100 MBBS and 50 BDS under the 85% state quota, eligible candidates are invited for the Assam MBBS counselling session based on the NEET 2024 merit rank. Candidates whose name is included in the merit list can fill the Assam NEET application form.

The Assam NEET counselling is done online in four rounds including a stray vacancy round.
The NEET 2024 exam is a prerequisite for students to be considered for DME Assam MBBS counselling.
The DME of Assam publishes the merit list containing the selected candidates' names based on their NEET 2024 scores. Candidates whose names appear on the list are eligible for counselling.
Before the late date, eligible candidates must submit the Assam MBBS application form 2024.

NOTE: Candidates must bring all essential documents at the time of reporting along with the originals and self-attested photocopies of the originals as instructed by the DME Assam.
For Assam NEET UG 2024 counselling, candidates have to provide their preferences for college and course during choice filling of DME Assam NEET counselling 2024. Aspirants must note that they can choose as many colleges and courses as per their choice and preference. Candidates can check the previous year's Assam NEET UG 2024 counselling cutoff to get a better idea about their choices of college and course accordingly.
The allocation of seats is based on the merit rank of the candidate state list. Details such as the name of the applicant, roll number, state merit rank, and the name of the allotted institute are included in the Assam MBBS seat allotment results for 2024. If a candidate is unable to attend the counselling on the scheduled day, his/her seat is withdrawn. Check out the list of last year's seat allocation below.
Upon completing the counselling process, eligible students are granted admission to about 1100 MBBS and 50 BDS seats at six medical and one dental colleges in the state.

Talking about the things that you need to carry to exam hall is Personal transparent water bottle, small hand sanitizer (50 ml), original copy of NEET 2025 admit card and an identification proof are allowed in the NEET exam. You can carry ball point blue pen and wear simple clothes . Jeans sometimes may cause irritation and don't feel uncomfortable.
