Assam MBBS BDS Eligibility Criteria 2018

  • The candidate must be a citizen of India.

  • The candidate must complete 17 years of age on or before December 31, 2018.

  • The candidate must pass Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English.

  • The candidate belonging to unreserved category must obtain 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in aggregate. For SC/ST(P)/ST(H)/OBC/MOBC categories, it is 50%.

  • The candidate should be medically fit to be eligible to seek admission to Assam MBBS 2018.

  • The candidate or candidate’s parent/s must be a permanent resident of Assam state for not less than 20 years.

  • The candidate’s education from Class VII to XII must be completed from an Institute located in the state of Assam.

  • The candidate must qualify NEET 2018 with minimum required percentile.

Assam MBBS BDS Merit List 2018

The merit list of Assam MBBS admission 2018 had been published on June 14, 2018. The merit list included candidates who have qualified NEET 2018 with minimum required percentile and have given Assam as their domicile while filling NEET 2018 application form. The inclusion in the Assam MBBS merit list 2018 meant that the candidate is eligible to apply for Assam MBBS application form 2018. The merit list of Assam MBBS 2018 admission consists of candidate’s name, NEET Roll no., domicile, category, state rank, percentile, total marks in each section (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) and NEET 2018 total score. The candidates are not informed about the merit list for admission of Assam MBBS 2018 individually.

 

Assam MBBS BDS Admission Form 2018

The application form of Assam MBBS admission 2018 was released on June 22, 2018. Only those candidates who will fill the registration form of Assam MBBS 2018 admission will be eligible for 85% State Quota seats. The last date to fill the application form of Assam MBBS 2018 was June 22, 2018. Assam MBBS application form 2018 is released in the online mode but has to be submitted in the offline mode at the allotted centre. The candidates whose name will appear in the Assam MBBS merit list 2018 will be eligible to fill the application form. 

 

Assam MBBS BDS Admission 2018 – Documents Required

The candidates will be required to submit the documents at the time of counselling of Assam MBBS 2018. The mandatory original documents should be submitted along with the self-attested photocopies. The list of documents which will be required at the time of Assam MBBS Counselling 2018 are given below-

  • NEET UG 2018 scorecard

  • NEET UG 2018 admit card

  • Class 10 and Class 12 pass certificates

  • Class 10 and 12 mark sheets.

  • Assam MBBS Application Form 2018

  • Date of Birth certificate

  • Identity Proof certificate (Driving Licence/PAN card/Voter ID/Adhaar card/Passport)

  • Caste Certificate issued by a competent authority of Assam state, if applicable.

  • Permanent Residence Certificate

  • Recent passport-size photographs

  • Certificate of physical disability, if applicable.

Assam MBBS BDS Counselling 2018

The first round of counselling for Assam MBBS admission 2018 started from June 29, 2018, and will be conducted until July 5, 2018. The counselling is conducted in offline mode. The mop-up round will be only conducted if there are any seats left vacant after the two rounds of counselling. The candidates are required to submit their documents and application form at the time of Assam MBBS 2018 counselling. The candidates are called in order of merit for Assam MBBS counselling 2018. If the documents and application form submitted by the aspirants are verified then the candidates are allotted a seat according to the preferences given in the Assam MBBS application form 2018. After the completion of the counselling session, a final selection list approved by the Government of Assam will be published by the conducting authority. The candidates can take admission in the allotted college by submitting the necessary documents and admission fees.
