The Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Assam conducts Assam NEET admissions. The authority has released stray round round Assam NEET 2025 counselling schedule. The registrations can be done on November 11.

NEET scores are the deciding factor for Assam MBBS/BDS admissions in 2025. The authorities release the Assam MBBS merit list on the official website. Under the 85% state quota, admissions to Assam MBBS 2025 are conducted through state counselling by the respective authorities.
There are a total of four rounds conducted for Assam NEET counselling, and candidates have to specify what course they want to attend during the counselling process. Based on the choices made by the aspirants, the availability of seats, and the NEET exam scores, 1100 MBBS and 50 BDS seats are allocated to the six medical colleges and one dental college in Assam. To apply for the Assam MBBS admission 2025, candidates must review the eligibility criteria. The Directorate of Medical Education has established eligibility standards, which are listed below.
The candidate must pass the NEET 2025 exam.
The applicant must be a citizen of India.
As of December 31, 2025, the candidate must be at least 17 years old.
Each candidate must have passed English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in the 12th grade.
Students must have attended Assam state schools from class VII to XII.
Every candidate should be in good health.
For the unreserved category, the candidate must obtain 60 per cent in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology and 50 per cent in the reserved category.
The candidate or the candidate’s parents must be permanent residents of Assam state for at least 20 years.

Depending on the NEET marks obtained by candidates, DME releases the state merit list for MBBS/BDS Assam 2025. The list contains the names, NEET scores, percentile, NEET rank, and state merit rank of all qualified candidates from the medical entrance exam and those who are permanent residents of the state. Eligible candidates are notified about the counselling based on their merit rank. Candidates are required to complete the Assam MBBS application form 2025 before beginning the counselling process.
DME releases the application form for Assam MBBS 2025 on their official website.
The Directorate of Medical Education, Assam, scrutinises all application forms once the Assam MBBS 2025 registration process is successfully completed.
The Directorate produces a list of all candidates who meet the requirements. After that, they are called for the process of counselling for granting admission to MBBS/BDS courses in Assam.
The final merit list is published on the official website of DME.

NTA itself offers free NEET Mock Tests so you need to visit their official website and then u can go to the NEET section and under that there will be free mock tests available.. also there they provide pyqs as well.. so u can also download that in the pdf form

OCE is known as "Other eligible communities". If your OCE is OBC-NCL, you can choose the option for other backward classes with proper verified documents. if not, then choose the general category.

firstly, for NEET the main requirements are ur own details.. ur name, ur dob, photo, signature and identity proof.. if ur mother's name is slightly different on ur 10th marksheet and her aadhar card, it usually doesnt create any issue during NEET admission or registration as well.. however if there is a major difference then u should consider getting the aadhar updated to avoid confusion during counselling or document verification
