Assam MBBS admission 2022: The Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Assam, conducts the Assam NEET 2022 admissions. The authority has released the Assam NEET 2022 schedule on the official website. The same can be checked below.

Earlier, the board released a notice for candidates eligible under the EWS category but who did not opt for the option while applying for NEET 2022. Applications for the Assam MBBS admission 2022 will be released soon. NEET 2022 score will be the deciding factor for Assam MBBS/BDS admissions in 2022. The authorities will also release Assam MBBS 2022 merit list online. Once the registration process for Assam NEET 2022 has been completed, eligible candidates will be invited to participate in the first round of Assam MBBS 2022 counselling.

Under the 85% state quota, admissions to Assam MBBS 2022 will take place through state counselling by the respective authorities. There will be a total of four rounds of Assam NEET counselling, and candidates will have to specify what course they want to attend during the counselling process. Based on the choices made by the aspirants, the availability of seats, and the NEET exam scores, 1100 MBBS and 50 BDS seats will be allocated to the six medical colleges and one dental college in Assam. Assam MBBS 2022 Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the Assam MBBS admission 2022, candidates must review the eligibility criteria. The Directorate of Medical Education has established eligibility standards, which are listed below.

• The candidate must pass the NEET 2022 exam.

• The applicant must be a citizen of India.

• As of December 31, 2022, the candidate must be at least 17 years old.

• Each candidate must have passed English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in the 12th grade.

• Students must have attended Assam state schools from class VII to XII.

• Every candidate should be in good health.

• For the unreserved category, the candidate must obtain 60 per cent in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology and 50 per cent in the reserved category.

• The candidate or candidate’s parents must be a permanent resident of Assam state for at least 20 years.

Assam MBBS 2022 Application Form

Assam MBBS 2022 applicants can fill in the application form if they qualify for NEET 2022. A list of information needed in the application form follows.

The following documents must be submitted with self attested photocopy of each document during the counselling process for Assam MBBS 2022f

Assam MBBS 2022 Merit List

Depending on the NEET marks obtained by candidates, DME will release the state merit list for MBBS/BDS in Assam in 2022. The list will contain the names, NEET scores, percentile, NEET rank, and state merit rank of all qualified candidates from the medical entrance exam and those who are permanently resident in the state. Eligible candidates will be notified about the counselling round based on their merit rank. Candidates are required to complete the Assam MBBS application form 2022 before beginning the counselling process.

Assam MBBS 2022 Counselling

• DME will release the application form for Assam MBBS 2022 on their official website.

• The Directorate of Medical Education, Assam, will scrutinize all application forms once the Assam MBBS 2022 registration process is successfully completed.

• The Directorate will produce a list of all candidates who meet the requirements. After that, they will be called for the process of counselling for granting admission to MBBS/BDS courses in Assam.

• The final merit list will be published on the official website of DME.
