The authority has informed this through an official notification, a link to view it is given below. On July 9, Assam MBBS seat allotment list for round 1 was released. As per the notice, the authorities may either remove the hold on the current allotment list or will release a fresh seat allotment list. Candidates have to report to their allotted colleges at the scheduled time. The authority had conducted Assam MBBS 2019 counselling for Round I from June 28-July 5. The application form opened on June 18. The candidates were required to download and submit the completed application form at the time of physical counselling. The quota application form for specific categories was earlier released on June 15, 2019; last date to fill the quota application form for Assam MBBS admissions was June 19, 2019. Based on the marks obtained in National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) the admission to 726 MBBS and 40 BDS seats will be granted in the medical and dental colleges of Assam. Aspirants who will fulfill the eligibility criteria set by the counselling authority will be granted admission to Assam MBBS 2019 under 85% state quota seats. While the remaining 15% seats in all government medical and dental colleges will be reserved for All India Quota candidates. These AIQ seats will be filled by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) on the basis of NEETscores.

DME, Assam started the process of MBBS and BDS admissions by releasing the Assam MBBS merit list 2019 on June 14, 2019. The list displays the name of candidates, total score, percentile, NEET All India Rank, state rank and permanent state. All the students included in the merit list are required to register themselves for counselling process of Assam MBBS 2019 admission. The application form has been made available in online mode but the forms will be submitted in offline mode only.
While filling the application form, applicants have to enter their personal, academic, NEET 2019 details and provide the preferences of colleges as well as courses. Along with that, aspirants must produce the relevant documents for counselling procedure. Based on the ranks mentioned in the merit list, candidates will be called for an offline counselling process. Before the procedure of Assam MBBS admission 2019, candidates must read the eligibility criteria set by DME, Assam to know whether they are eligible or not. Check the basic Assam MBBS 2019 eligibility criteria below.
A candidate must be a citizen of India
Aspirant must have completed the age of 17 years on or before December 31, 2019
Student should have passed Class 12 qualifying exam with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English.
Candidates belonging to General category must score 60% in Physics, Chemistry, Biology in aggregate. While for SC/ST/OBC/MOBC aspirants, it is 50%.
It is mandatory to be physically fit for admission to Assam MBBS 2019.
The applicant or the parent’s applicant must be a permanent resident of Assam for not less than 20 years.
The education of candidates from Class 7 to 12 must be completed from an institute located in the state.
Students must have secured minimum NEET cut off 2019 qualifying percentile as mentioned in the table below.

The authority has withheld the first seat allotment list which was published on July 9, 2019. The reason for withholding the seat allotment list has not been specified yet. As per the official notice, the candidates will be duly informed about any developments. The first round of counselling was conducted from June 28-July 5. Aspirants will be required to report at the designated venue for Assam MBBS 2019 counselling. The counselling will be conducted in offline mode in two rounds. Candidates included in the merit list who will fill the application form within the specified time will be called for AIIMS MBBS counselling 2019 procedure.
Based on the Assam MBBS state merit rank, preferences of colleges as well as courses and seats availability, the Assam MBBS admission 2019 will be granted. The first round of Assam MBBS counselling 2019 will be conducted in the last week of June. Aspirants who will be allotted seats must report at the designated college for document verification and completion of admission process.
After the completion of first round, the authority will organise Assam MBBS counselling 2019 round two to fill the remaining vacant seats left. The second round of counselling will begin from last week of July 2019. Candidates allotted seats in the round two must report at the respective colleges along with the documents.
The authority has released the merit list of Assam MBBS 2019. Based on the scores obtained in NEET by candidates, the Assam MBBS/BDS 2019 merit list has been prepared. The merit list includes the name, NEET scores and percentile, NEET rank and state merit rank of candidates who have qualified in medical entrance exam and have a permanent domicile of the state. Based on the state merit rank, candidates will be called for counselling. Before the commencement of counselling, aspirants have to fill the Assam MBBS application form 2019 to participate for MBBS and BDS admission procedure.
Assam MBBS 2019 application form has been released on June 18, 2019 by Directorate of Medical Education, Assam. Candidates who are included in the state merit list will be considered eligible to fill the application form. The authority has made the application form available in online mode, however, it must be submitted in offline mode only. The quota claim application form was released on June 15 and has to be submitted by June 19, 2019.
While registering for Assam MBBS 2019 admission, candidates have to submit their personal, academic, contact, NEET UG 2019 details and also fill the choices of colleges as well as courses.

Yes, you are eligible to write NEET from UP, even though you want to take admission in a college of Delhi. The admission is taken on the basis of your marks and rank, so it does not matter from which state you have given the exam. But you won't get the benefit of state quota.
