Candidates must have qualified the NEET UG examination by securing the minimum cutoff.

Candidates must have completed class 12 examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Biotechnology and English subjects.
Candidates appearing for the Chhattisgarh BAMS counselling process are required to complete the registration process first. After registration, candidates are required to fill the application form and pay the fee. Candidates are advised to give the same mobile number and email ID as given before during registration for the NEET UG 2025 examination. While registering, candidates need to download the SANDES app to receive the OTP for their registered mobile number. During online registration, candidates can change their password.
Note: For BAMS and BHMS courses, there is one separate registration whereas for BYNS courses, candidates have to register separately.
The authority releases the Chhattisgarh AYUSH 2025 merit list on the official website. Candidates name, roll number, category, rank etc, is mentioned in the Chhattisgarh AYUSH merit list. Before doing the choice filling, candidates need to check the status or rank scored in the merit list.
After registration, candidates are required to fill their preferences for seat allotment. Candidates must fill and lock their preferences with the specified dates. Choices once entered can be alerted till the last date if not locked. Also, candidates must lock their choices within the specified time otherwise they get locked automatically.
The authority published the Chhattisgarh AYUSH counselling 2025 merit list in PDF format. The merit list is released for the registered candidates only. The authority releases one merit list for BAMS and BHMS courses and a separate merit list for BNYS courses.

Usually, after the NEET PG exam date is announced, the gap between the announcement and the actual exam is about 4 to 8 weeks .
In most past years:
The exam notice comes 1–2 months before the exam.
Sometimes the gap can be shorter, around 3–4 weeks , if the schedule is tight.
It can also be longer in some years, but 1–2 months is the common pattern .
This timeline helps students finish revision and complete registration on time
