DU PG Medical Admission 2019 - The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will be responsible for admission to DU PG medical 2019 for 50% Delhi University Quota. DU PG medical admission will be done on the basis of scores obtained in NEET PG. Candidates who will fulfill the certain eligibility conditions set by the authority for admission to MD/MS/PG Diploma courses offered by medical colleges affiliated to Delhi University. The remaining 50% seats from government medical colleges will be reserved for All India Quota candidates. Around 22 Postgraduate degree courses, 10 PG Diploma courses and 9 MDS courses will be offered through DU PG medical admission 2019.

The application form of DU PG medical 2019 for 50% DU quota seats will be available from second week of March, along with aspirants selected under 50% AIQ seats. The online registration can be done only in online mode. Based on the NEET PG scores filled in application form, the MCC will prepare and release DU PG medical 2019 merit list in the last week of March. During the registration process, aspirants have to fill their choices of colleges and specialization courses. With these filled in choices, rank in the merit list and availability of seats, the admission will be granted. NEET PG 2019 will be conducted on January 6, for admission to MD/MS/PG Diploma courses offered by government, private, deemed and central universities across India. Through NEET PG scores, admission to 50% All India Quota and 50% State quota seats will be granted. National Board of Examinations (NBE) has released the NEET PG application form 2019 on November 2, 2018.

DU PG Medical Eligibility Criteria 2019

Before registration for DU PG medical admission 2019, aspirants must go through the eligibility conditions of DU PG medical to check whether they are eligible to apply or not. The basic eligibility criteria for admission to MD/MS/PG Diploma courses are mentioned below.

MBBS degree: Candidates must have completed the final MBBS examination from Delhi University.

Internship: Aspirants must have completed the 12 months compulsory rotatory internship as on March 31, 2019, and must produce the completion certificate at the time of admission.


NEET PG Cut off 2019It is mandatory to qualify NEET PG 2019 with the minimum qualifying cut off marks as set by the authority. General category aspirants must secure at least 50 percentile in national level examination, while for SC/ST/OBC and General-PH candidates, it is 40 and 45 percentile, respectively.

Medical examination: To pursue the postgraduate medical courses in DU PG medical 2019 admission, it is crucial for aspirants to be medically fit.


DU PG Medical Application Form 2019

  • All the candidates who are willing for admission to PG degree and diploma courses must register for DU PG medical 2019 admission through MCC. 

  • While filling DU PG medical 2019 application form for counselling, candidates have to fill their basic personal, qualification, NEET PG and other asked details. 

  • Along with that, the choices of colleges and specialization courses should also be filled by aspirants.

  • The last date for DU PG medical online registration 2019 will be third week of March.

  • Aspirants must also pay the prescribed application fee of Rs. 1000 for general/unreserved category, while Rs. 500 for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC categories.

  • The registration fee for DU PG medical admission is same as the fee of counselling for 50% All India Quota seats as the counselling will be conducted by MCC simultaneously.

  • Candidates will also be required to upload the documents as mentioned below for DU PG medical registration 2019.

  • After the allotment of seats, the selected candidates need to register with Faculty of Medical Sciences and pay the annual fees of Rs. 15,600.

DU PG Medical Merit List 2019

The merit list of DU PG medical 2019 will be released in the last week of March, only for the registered aspirants. The merit list will be prepared and published by MCC on the basis of marks obtained in NEET PG exam. DU PG medical 2019 merit list is the seat allotment list published by the authority for counselling process. Candidates included in the DU PG medical merit list 2019 will be called for counselling. 

Note: Once an aspirant will be selected, he/she will be required to upload the relevant documents and pay the annual fee of Rs. 15,600. If in case, any candidate is unable to register themselves to FMSC for DU PG medical admission, they will not be considered for further admission procedure.


DU PG Medical Counselling 2019

The counselling of DU PG medical admission will be done by Directorate General Health Services (DGHS) on behalf of MCC. Candidates who will registered themselves will be eligible to appear for counselling process. DU PG medical 2019 counselling will be done in two rounds only excluding mop-up round. The first round of DU PG medical counselling will begin from second week of March 2019. During online registration, aspirants will have to choose the colleges and specialisation courses as per their preferences. As per the preferences, DU PG medical rank and availability of seats, the admission to DU PG medical admission 2019 will be granted.

Once the seats will be allotted, the selected candidates are required to report at the designated college/institute for completion of admission process. Along with that, the online registration must be done with FMSC to upload the documents and pay the fee of Rs. 15,600. 

The second round of DU PG medical counselling will commence from second week of April 2019 to fill up the remaining vacant seats under 50% DU quota seats. In case after the completion of round two, the authority will conduct mop-up round counselling, which will commence from second week of May 2019.
