Questions related to NEET

Have a question related to NEET ?

Most likely, you will not have your application rejected by NEET due to a difference in the mother's name in your 10th and 12th mark sheet.

However, this disparity needs to be rectified so that you do not face any trouble at verification time.

What you must do is the following:

Understand the Discrepancy

Get in touch with your school or board to procure a clarification or rectification as regards the name of your mother in the 12th mark sheet.

Get corrected mark sheet with his/her name as it is recorded.

File Affidavit

If one could not get marked copy of the marks card, one can file affidavit for explanation of discrepancy of the mistake. Affidavit be signed by the notary public or gazette officer. Additional Documentation:

Submission of additional documentary evidence in the form of marriage certificate and other evidentiary material to substantiate the case.

This would make the name difference not cause much concern about your NEET application.

Remember, honesty is the best policy while applying.

There is very least possibilities that Your mother's or father's Aadhar Card will be required at any step , so logically there should be no problem but sometimes they ask why there is discrepancy in names at yhe time of document verification if you have a reason then they take affidavit from you and you get admission.

Mostly 10th Marksheet is required as a date of birth proof these are very minor mistakes they will understand

At the end Your name should be correct and date of birth

Good luck..
