Release of application form: JIPMER, Puducherry will begin the online registration in the first week of March 2020. The last date to fill the application form is likely to fall in the second week of April 2020.
Email ID and Phone number: Candidates applying for JIPMER 2020 must have a valid email id and a phone number which will be required at the time of registration. Important information like login ID, password, login link and other important information will be sent on the registered email id and phone number.

Lower Age Limit: Candidates must attain the age of at least 17 years on or before December 31, 2020.
Class 12 Subjects: Candidates must have passed Class 12 with subjects comprising Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English.
Class 12 Qualifying Percentage: Candidates must have passed the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology/Botany & Zoology and English individually in Class 12 and must have scored at least 60% (50% for SC/ST/OBC/OPH category) in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology taken together.
Appearing/Awaiting Results of Class 12: Candidates whose results of Class 12 are still awaited or they are appearing in Class 12 exams, they can also fill the application form of JIPMER MBBS 2020, provided they fulfil the lower age limit eligibility criteria and pass Class 12 with required marks and subjects.

Personal Information: Candidate must enter the father’s name, mother’s name, gender, nationality, category, Puducherry residential status, etc. Note that first enter your nationality and then category since the categories will be shown accordingly.
OBC Category Entry Number (Only applicable for OBC category candidates)- Candidates belonging to OBC category will be required to enter their state and entry number, as per the Central OBC list. If it is not applicable click on ‘No’. The link to check ‘entry number’ of OBC category as per the state is also available on the portal. To check the entry number of respective OBC caste/community, candidates should click on the link ‘here’, select their state and check their entry number.
Qualification Details- Enter your Class 12 academic details, like status, i.e. appearing or completed, subjects studied in Class 12, name of the school/college/institution, name of city where Class 12 institution is situated, name of the board/university, month and year of passing or appearing Class 12 exams and percentage scored (if applicable).
Other Details- Enter parent’s educational background, occupation and annual income.
Address Details- Enter your present address, mobile number, email address, state, city, etc.
Identity Proof- Enter identity card number of either Aadhar Card, Passport, or any other government authorised identity card.
Exam City Preference- Choose three preference of exam cities amongst 120 exam city options.
Upload Digital Documents- Upload digital photograph, signature and category certificate (if applicable) as per the prescribed specifications (refer image and table below).

Declaration- Click on ‘I Agree’ checkbox given at the bottom right of the application screen. Also, enter the text as shown in the image.
Preview and Submit- Click on ‘Preview’ button given at the bottom to preview the details entered in JIPMER MBBS application form. After reviewing the details, click on ‘Submit’ to submit the duly filled application form.
Step 4: Make the payment of Application Fee
a) Upon clicking the ‘Submit’ button, check the details as entered and click on ‘Ok’. Candidates will now be required to make the payment of application fee. They will be directed to the payment interface. Given below in the table is the application fee of JIPMER MBBS 2020 as applicable for different categories.
b) Mode of Payment: Candidates can make the payment of requisite application fee of JIPMER MBBS 2020 in online mode only, through Credit Card, Debit Card or Net Banking.
Step 5: Print final filled application form of JIPMER MBBS 2020
a) After making the payment of JIPMER MBBS application fee, candidates will be directed to the duly filled application form of JIPMER MBBS 2020. Click on ‘Print Form’ to take a print-out of the filled JIPMER MBBS application form 2020 and save it for future reference.
Candidates must make sure that the phone number given at the time of filling the application form must not be registered with DND (Do Not Disturb) as all the crucial information on the registered mobile number.

Venkatesh, there is no upper age limit for NEET. So as long as you fulfill the eligibility criteria which is completing your 12th, passing in all subjects and securing a minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology you are eligible for NEET. It is 50% for General Category, 45% for PWD and 40% for OBC,SC,ST. If you uflfil this minimum aggregate criteria, you are eligible for NEET. There is the age criteria that says you should be 17 years atleast by December 31st of the year of admission and you do fulfil that criteria. So if you have secured the required aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology against your Category, then even with gap between your 11th and 12th, you are eligible for NEET.
The cut-off mark for Neet 2020 will depend on total number of Neet aspirants appearing for exam, difficulty level of the exam and number of seats available.
