    The NEET 2026 application form was released by NTA on February 8, 2026. The NEET application form 2026 is released online at the official website neet.nta.nic.in. Eligible candidates can fill the application form of NEET 2026 till March 11, 2026. Only such candidates who fill the NEET 2026 application form within the stipulated time will be eligible to sit for the exam on May 3, 2026.     NEET 2026 Application Form: Eligibility Criteria

    The NEET 2026 application form eligibility criteria needs to be met by the candidates. The NEET eligibility criteria for application form is as follows.

    • The aspirant must be an Indian National, NRI, OCI, PIO, or Foreign National

    • Applicants must be at least 17 years old on or before December 31, 2026

    • There is no upper age limit to apply for NEET UG 2026

    • Candidates must have passed Class 12 or equivalent from a recognised board

    • Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English must be compulsory subjects in Class 12

    • The minimum qualifying marks in class 12 is 50% for General category students. For SC/ ST/ OBC candidates it is 40%, whereas, PwD candidates must have scored 45% marks

    • Candidates appearing in the Class 12 examination in 2026 are also eligible to apply

    To fill the NEET application form 2026, candidates need certain documents that need to be uploaded or used to enter the personal and academic details in the application form. The list of documents required for NEET 2026 application form are as follows -

    • Recent passport-size photograph (as per NTA specifications)

    • Postcard-size photograph (background should be white)

    • Signature of the candidate (scanned copy)

    • Left-hand thumb impression (blue ink on white paper)

    • Class 10 certificate or marksheet (for date of birth verification)

    • Valid photo ID proof, such as Aadhaar Card, Passport, Voter ID, PAN Card, Driving Licence
