    The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, will conduct the Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test, INICET 2026 for the July session. The authority has announced the INICET May 2026 date for the July 2026 session. The INICET May 2026 exam will be conducted on May 16, 2026.     INICET 2026: Eligibility Criteria

    Candidates applying for INICET May 2026 must check the eligibility criteria beforehand to avoid any mistakes. The detailed INI CET eligibility criteria are provided in the table below.

    INI CET May 2026 Registration

    Candidates have to complete the INI CET May 2026 registration in online mode on the official website. INICET May 2026 registration can be completed by filling the application form, uploading relevant documents, and fee payment.     INICET Registration Process

    INICET May 2026 Registration: Visit the official website - aiimsexams.ac.in and and create a profile by entering required details. After submitting the details, a user ID and password will be generated after the completion of INI CET registration.

    INI CET May 2026 Application Form Filling: Candidates who completed the INI CET May 2026 registration need to fill the application form by entering personal, academic, correspondence and permanent address details, and other information.

    Uploading of relevant documents: Applicants have to upload the photograph, scanned signature, MBBS or BDS qualification degree certificate, proof of citizenship, and other relevant documents.

    Choose INI CET exam city: After uploading relevant documents, applicants have to select at least three INI CET exam centres. Candidates can check the list of exam centres of INI CET May 2026 in the information brochure.

    After the declaration of result, the authority conducts the INI CET counselling for the for admission to 875 seats in Doctor of Medicine (MD), Master of Surgery (MS), Master of Dental Surgery (MDS), Doctorate of Medicine (DM), and Master of Chirurgiae (MCh) courses. Candidates have to complete the registration and choice filling for their choice of course and AIIMS campus. Based on the choice filled by the candidate, the authority releases the seat allotment PDF for the shortlisted candidates.

    With a rank of 1375 in the INI CET November 2025 session under the general category, securing a seat in general surgery or orthopedics will be very difficult, but still you have chances in fields like MCh courses or related surgical fields in the counseling rounds.

    Based on previous INI-CET trends , a UR rank around 25,686 usually does not get a Microbiology seat in AIIMS institutes.

    In most years, Microbiology in AIIMS closes at a much better (lower) rank for the unreserved category. Only the very last round in some years has gone close
