NEET PG College Predictor
NEET PG All India & State College Predictor with Admission Process Guide
INI CET High Weightage Chapters 2026: INI CET is the entrance exam for MD, MS, MCh (6 years) and DM (6 years) seats at AIIMS and other Institutes of National Importance. AIIMS, New Delhi, conducts the INI CET exam. With 200 questions across 19 subjects, the real question is not what to study, but what to study first. AIIMS does not publish chapter-wise weightage, so we built our own. We classified 764 questions from four past papers by subject and chapter and counted them. Every number below comes from that count. These are editorial estimates, not official figures.

How we built the data. We used the tagged questions from four papers: July 2021, November 2021, May 2022 and a second 2022 paper. That gives 764 questions. We left out the 35 untagged May 2022 questions, repeated questions within a paper, and the 2020 paper, whose tags are too unrefined to compare. The January 2025, May 2023 and 2024 files were too thin or repetitive to use for weightage. A chapter's "papers" column shows in how many of the four papers it appeared.

The top five subjects (Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Pharmacology, Surgery, Pathology and Medicine) make up about 43% of the sample. The next five (Microbiology, PSM, Biochemistry, Physiology and Anatomy) add about 30%. Together, ten subjects carry nearly three-quarters of the paper. The last five rows are small but not zero.
These chapters were the most asked, and most appeared in all four papers.
Obstetrics and Gynaecology alone had 74 questions, so each of those two chapters out-counted every other single chapter by a wide margin. Genetics, at 18 questions, was the biggest chapter outside OBG.
Ophthalmology: Glaucoma and Neuro-ophthalmology (4 each, in all four papers).
ENT: Nose and Paranasal Sinuses (9, in all four papers) led the subject, followed by Ear (5).
Orthopaedics: Spine, Pelvis and Lower Limb Traumatology (7, in all four papers).
Dermatology: Cutaneous Infections (6).
Paediatrics: Infectious Diseases (5).
Start with OBG, Pharmacology, Surgery, Pathology and Medicine. They carry the largest share.
Prioritise chapters that appeared in all four papers. A chapter that repeats is safer than one with a single spike.
Do not skip small subjects. ENT, Ophthalmology and Orthopaedics each have one chapter that shows up every time, which makes them quick marks.
Revise facts-heavy chapters often. Many Biochemistry, Pharmacology and Forensic questions are single-fact.
Use −⅓ marking carefully. A blind guess averages zero; a guess after removing two options is positive.
