NEET PG College Predictor
NEET PG All India & State College Predictor with Admission Process Guide
INI CET Most Repeated Topics from the Last Five Sessions: Every INI CET aspirant asks the same thing: which topics keep coming back? We checked this against past papers instead of guessing. We counted which chapters appeared in every paper and which individual questions were repeated in the INI CET exam. AIIMS does not publish topic-wise data, so everything here is our own count from the question papers we examined. The five sessions are the 2020 paper, July 2021, November 2021, May 2022 and a second 2022 paper. That is the set of five papers we could study, not the five most recent sessions.

How we built the data. We used tagged questions only. We left out repeats within a paper and 35 untagged questions in May 2022. The 2020 paper is tagged more coarsely than the rest: it groups several subjects, including Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Pharmacology, under broad labels. So we could not check those subjects in 2020.

Chapter | Subject | Total | 2020 | Jul 2021 | Nov 2021 | May 2022 | 2nd 2022 |
Neurology | Medicine | 22 | 10 | 3 | 3 | 2 | 4 |
Genetics | Biochemistry | 19 | 1 | 5 | 5 | 4 | 4 |
Gastrointestinal Surgery | Surgery | 17 | 3 | 2 | 1 | 8 | 3 |
Systemic Bacteriology | Microbiology | 16 | 6 | 2 | 3 | 1 | 4 |
Neuroanatomy | Anatomy | 15 | 2 | 5 | 4 | 2 | 2 |
Cardiology | Medicine | 15 | 4 | 3 | 2 | 1 | 5 |
Pulmonology | Medicine | 13 | 3 | 3 | 2 | 2 | 3 |
Endocrine Surgery | Surgery | 12 | 1 | 3 | 2 | 2 | 4 |
Nose and Paranasal Sinuses | ENT | 11 | 2 | 1 | 4 | 1 | 3 |
Forensic Toxicology | Forensic Medicine | 9 | 1 | 1 | 1 | 2 | 4 |
National Health Programs | PSM | 9 | 1 | 2 | 2 | 1 | 3 |
Immunity | Pathology | 8 | 1 | 2 | 3 | 1 | 1 |
Ear | ENT | 7 | 2 | 1 | 2 | 1 | 1 |
Forensic Traumatology | Forensic Medicine | 7 | 1 | 2 | 2 | 1 | 1 |
Two patterns can be observed here. First, Neurology, Cardiology and Pulmonology were present in every paper, which fits their steady place in Medicine. Second, Genetics gave four or five questions in each of the last four papers, though only one in 2020. ENT also deserves attention: both Nose and Paranasal Sinuses and Ear appeared in all five papers, so a small subject can still be a reliable source of marks.
The 2020 tags cannot confirm the chapters below, but each appeared in all four papers that are tagged in detail.
Chapter | Subject | Questions in 4 papers |
Obstetrics | OBG | 39 |
Gynaecology | OBG | 35 |
General Pharmacology | Pharmacology | 16 |
Neoplasia | Pathology | 14 |
Haematology: Red Blood Cells | Pathology | 11 |
Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Surgery | Surgery | 11 |
CNS Pharmacology | Pharmacology | 8 |
Excretory System | Physiology | 8 |
Amino Acids and Proteins | Biochemistry | 8 |
Spine, Pelvis and Lower Limb Traumatology | Orthopaedics | 7 |
Glaucoma | Ophthalmology | 4 |
Neuro-ophthalmology | Ophthalmology | 4 |
Obstetrics and Gynaecology are in a class of their own: 74 questions between them, in every paper we could check.
Repeating is not the same as being steady. Gastrointestinal Surgery gave only one to three questions in four of the papers but eight in May 2022. Gynaecology gave 14 and 13 questions in the two 2021 papers and then 6 and 2. Obstetrics moved the other way: 8, 7, 13 and 11. Red cell disorders in Pathology jumped to 6 questions in the second 2022 paper after 1 to 3 earlier. Do not plan around one year's spike. Plan around chapters that show up every time.
Exact questions rarely appear. We compared about 1,000 question stems across papers and found four that came back almost word for word, with the same options and answer:
Smoking cessation: the most effective drug (varenicline) appeared in July 2021, November 2021 and the second 2022 paper.
CRISPR-Cas9: the repair mechanism (non-homologous end joining) appeared in July and November 2021.
Cyclosporine: the mechanism of action (calcineurin inhibition) appeared in both 2021 papers.
Centrally acting opioid antitussive: the answer (levopropoxyphene) appeared in both 2021 papers.
Four repeated questions out of about a thousand is a small number. The lesson is that topics or concepts repeat far more than questions do. Learn concepts, not question banks.
Start with all chapters in the first table, then add the OBG and Pharmacology chapters.
Revise ENT, Ophthalmology and Orthopaedics chapter by chapter. They are small subjects, but a few chapters show up every time.
Learn drug and mechanism facts well. Several pharmacology questions repeated with the same answer.
Treat a spike as a warning, not a forecast. Check how many papers a chapter appeared in.
Mind the marking. INI CET has −⅓ negative marking, so guess only after removing options. Confirm the latest pattern on aiimsexams.ac.in.
