Meghalaya MBBS Admission 2021 - North East Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health and Medical Sciences (NEIGRIHMS), Shillong has released the Meghalaya NEET merit list and counselling schedule. Meghalaya MBBS 2021 admission can be done on the basis of NEET scores. Through Meghalaya MBBS merit list 2021, a total of 92 students have been selected for Meghalaya NEET 2021 counselling process. The counselling for Meghalaya MBBS admission 2021 will be conducted on January 28, 2022, from 10:00 AM onwards.

During Meghalaya MBBS 2021 counselling process, the seats will be allotted on the basis of NEET-UG rank and reservation criteria. Aspirants need to carry the documents for verification purpose for Meghalaya MBBS admission. The list of selected candidates in the Meghalaya NEET UG admission 2021 will be released on February 1, 2022. The NEIGRIHMS had released the Meghalaya MBBS application form 2021 along with the prospectus on November 15, 2021.

Meghalaya MBBS admission form 2021 was filled in offline mode. After filling the required details in Meghalaya NEET-UG 2021 application form, aspirants need to send it to the NEIGRIHMS office via post or in person. In order to participate in Meghalaya MBBS admission 2021, students need to qualify NEET entrance exam held on September 12, 2021. Such candidates must fulfil the eligibility criteria along with other factors for admission to Meghalaya NEET 2021.
Based on the details filled in the application form, the Meghalaya MBBS 2021 merit list will be prepared. The merit list of Meghalaya NEET 2021 will contain All India Rank (AIR), state rank, name of the candidates and other details. Candidates included in the Meghalaya MBBS merit list will be called for the counselling process. During the Meghalaya NEET counselling 2021 process, aspirants need to provide their choices of colleges in which they wish to get admission. On the basis of choices filled, seats available, NEET 2021 scores, reservation criteria and other factors, the Meghalaya MBBS admission will be done.

Meghalaya MBBS admission - Eligibility criteria
Candidates are required to fulfil certain conditions to be eligible for Meghalaya NEET admission 2021. These criteria are decided by the admission conducting authorities and the same has been mentioned below.
The medical aspirant must be resident (Permanent/Domicile) of one of the 8 North-Eastern states of India including Sikkim for Meghalaya MBBS 2021 admission
In the preceding two years the candidates must have studied and completed their course from the schools located in India for admission to Meghalaya MBBS
Basic NEET eligibility criteria 2021 must be fulfilled by the aspiring candidates
It is mandatory that candidates qualify NEET 2021 by securing the minimum qualifying percentile as mentioned in the table below.

NEIGRIHMS has released the application form for Meghalaya MBBS 2021 admission in the online mode. Aspirants will need to download, fill and submit the Meghalaya MBBS application form 2021 using speed post. A link to download Meghalaya MBBS application form with the brochure has been provided on the page above. Aspiring candidates must register themselves successfully for admission to Meghalaya MBBS.
In the application form of Meghalaya MBBS, candidates will be required to enter the following details:
- Personal details - Name, father/guardian name, date of birth, gender, domicile status, category, paste passport size photograph
- Communication details - Permanent address, correspondence address, mobile number, email ID
- NEET UG details - Roll number, marks secured, percentile score and All India Rank
- Declaration - Read the declaration carefully to know that the information and documents provided are all correct. If incorrect, the legal action can be taken against the candidate
- Self-attest - Signature and left-hand thumb impression must be done
Meghalaya MBBS application fees 2021
The application form of Meghalaya NEET 2021 can only be submitted after successful payment of fees. Candidates need to submit the Meghalaya MBBS 2021 application fee through a bank challan. The application fee is Rs. 500, which is non-refundable. The bank challan should be of Bank of Baroda.

The authorities has released the merit list for admission to Meghalaya NEET in the online mode Those candidates who register themselves successfully, fulfil eligibility conditions are included in Meghalaya MBBS merit list 2021. It is to be noted that the merit list has been displayed on the NEIGRIHMS campus. The merit list of Meghalaya NEET 2021 contains details like candidate’s name, NEET roll number and rank and state merit rank, among other details.
Meghalaya MBBS counselling 2021
NEIGRIHMS is the authority responsible for conducting counselling for admission to the medical and dental colleges of the state. Candidates mentioned in the merit list of Meghalaya MBBS 2021 will be required to attend the counselling session. The shortlisted aspirants must report to the office undersigned for completion of the admission process, document verification and payment of fees. Medical aspirants will be required to furnish original documents and their self-attested copies along with their passport size photographs to the counselling centre for Meghalaya MBBS admission 2021. In the situation where seats remain vacant for admission to Meghalaya MBBS, the authorities will conduct another round of counselling for waitlist students.

Those candidates who are desirous of Meghalaya MBBS 2021 admission and have secured a seat for themselves by following the procedure mentioned above will have to execute a bond on a stamp paper when taking admission. This bond will clearly state that if the candidate leaves the course before its due completion, for whatever reason, he/she will have to deposit/pay bond money of ₹ 10,000,00/-

You have failed to qualify neet examination but in order to be eligible for getting admission in MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS etc even in private colleges for management quota seat or anywhere you must qualify Neet examination

You need to provide income certificate at the time of counselling only in case if you belong to reserved category while document verification. If you fail to provide income and category certificate so you cannot claim any reservations and you will be treated as general candidate.
