The conducting committee for Meghalaya MBBS 2018 admission will consist of members from the institute. Candidates seeking admission to Meghalaya MBBS 2018 need to mandatorily fill in the application form of NEIGRIHMS which will be released by the second week of June 2018 tentatively. Candidates also need to secure the minimum percentile in the NEET UG 2018 exam in order to be eligible for Meghalaya MBBS 2018 admission. The last date of filling up the application form of Meghalaya MBBS admission 2018 will be the third week of June 2018 tentatively. Eligible candidates who will successfully submit the application form will be included in the Meghalaya MBBS merit list 2018. Meghalaya MBBS Admission 2018 – Eligibility Criteria

  • The candidates seeking admission to Meghalaya MBBS 2018 must be citizens of India.

  • The candidates must have completed 17 years of age on or before December 31, 2018.

  • The age of the candidates must not be more than 25 as on May 7, 2018.

  • Candidates applying for Meghalaya MBBS admission 2018 must be domicile/permanent residents of the state.

  • Candidates should have studied and completed their course in the schools located in India in the preceding two years.

  • Candidates must have passed their Class 12 comprising of the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (which shall include practical tests in these subjects) and any other elective with English. The applicants must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany & Zoology) in the qualifying examination.

  • The candidates must have obtained the required minimum percentile in the NEET 2018 UG examination in order to be eligible for Meghalaya MBBS 2018 admission.

Meghalaya MBBS Admission 2018 – Application Form

The application form for Meghalaya MBBS 2018 admission will be released in the second week of June 2018 tentatively. The Meghalaya MBBS application form 2018 will be released online by NEIGRIHMS. The tentative last date to fill in the application form for Meghalaya MBBS admission 2018 is the third week of June 2018. Candidates who are domicile of the state of Meghalaya and will secure the qualifying percentile in the NEET 2018 UG examination will be eligible for Meghalaya MBBS 2018 admission. Candidates can apply to both the Meghalaya and NE quota seats available through Meghalaya MBBS admission 2018. The application fee for Meghalaya MBBS admission 2018 is 500 INR for all categories.

 

Meghalaya MBBS Merit List 2018

The merit list for Meghalaya MBBS 2018 admission will be released by the third week of June 2018 tentatively. The Meghalaya MBBS merit list 2018 will be prepared on the basis of NEET 2018 scores and released online. Candidates can also view the Meghalaya MBBS admission 2018 merit list offline in the NEIGRIHMS campus. The eligible candidates who have completed the process of online application will be included in the Meghalaya MBBS 2018 admission merit list. All the candidates whose names will be included in the state merit list will be able to attend the counselling for Meghalaya MBBS 2018 admission. The candidates will not be individually informed about the merit list. The merit list of NEIGRIHMS MBBS 2018 will include candidates’ names, roll numbers, NEET scores, and NEET rank.

Meghalaya MBBS Counselling 2018

The counselling for Meghalaya MBBS 2018 admission will be conducted by NEIGRIHMS in the fourth week of June 2018 tentatively. Admission of students to Meghalaya MBBS 2018 will be conducted as per the merit list released by the authorities. The mode of counselling for Meghalaya MBBS admission 2018 will be offline. Meghalaya MBBS counselling 2018 will be conducted in one round. Candidates will have to physically report at the NEIGRIHMS campus on the scheduled date. The candidates need to bring their original certificates/documents along with the self-attested copies and passport size photographs to the Meghalaya MBBS 2018 counselling centre to get them verified. The list of candidates selected for the first round of counselling along with a waiting list will be released on the official website of Meghalaya MBBS admission 2018. An additional round of counselling for Meghalaya MBBS 2018 may be conducted if in any case seats are left vacant, for which candidates from the waiting list will be called.
