Meghalaya MBBS Admission 2018 – Eligibility Criteria

  • The candidates seeking admission to Meghalaya MBBS 2018 must be citizens of India.

  • The candidates must have completed 17 years of age on or before December 31, 2018.

  • The age of the candidates must not be more than 25 as on May 7, 2018.

  • Candidates applying for Meghalaya MBBS admission 2018 must be domicile/permanent residents of the state.

  • Candidates should have studied and completed their course in the schools located in India in the preceding two years.

  • Candidates must have passed their Class 12 comprising of the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (which shall include practical tests in these subjects) and any other elective with English. The applicants must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany & Zoology) in the qualifying examination.

  • The candidates must have obtained the required minimum percentile in the NEET 2018 UG examination in order to be eligible for Meghalaya MBBS 2018 admission.

The application form for Meghalaya MBBS 2018 admission was released on June 15, 2018. The Meghalaya MBBS application form 2018 was released online by NEIGRIHMS. The last date to fill in the application form for Meghalaya MBBS admission 2018 was July 14, 2018. Candidates who are domicile of the state of Meghalaya and have secured the qualifying percentile in the NEET 2018 UG examination are eligible for Meghalaya MBBS 2018 admission. Candidates can apply to both the Meghalaya and NE quota seats available through Meghalaya MBBS admission 2018. The application fee for Meghalaya MBBS admission 2018 is 500 INR for all categories.

Meghalaya MBBS Merit List 2018

The merit list for Meghalaya MBBS 2018 admission has been released on July 17, 2018. The Meghalaya MBBS merit list 2018 is prepared on the basis of NEET 2018 scores and released online. Candidates can also view the Meghalaya MBBS admission 2018 merit list offline in the NEIGRIHMS campus. The eligible candidates who had completed the process of online application are included in the Meghalaya MBBS 2018 admission merit list. All the candidates whose names have been included in the state merit list are eligible to attend the counselling for Meghalaya MBBS 2018 admission. The merit list of NEIGRIHMS MBBS 2018 includes candidates’ names, roll numbers, NEET scores, and NEET rank.

Meghalaya MBBS Counselling 2018

The counselling for Meghalaya MBBS 2018 admission is conducted by NEIGRIHMS on July 20, 2018. Admission of students to Meghalaya MBBS 2018 is conducted as per the merit list released by the authorities. The mode of counselling for Meghalaya MBBS admission 2018 is offline. Meghalaya MBBS counselling 2018 is conducted in one round. Candidates are required to physically report at the NEIGRIHMS campus on the scheduled date. The candidates need to bring their original certificates/documents along with the self-attested copies and passport size photographs to the Meghalaya MBBS 2018 counselling centre to get them verified. The list of candidates selected for the first round of counselling along with a waiting list will be released on the official website of Meghalaya MBBS admission 2018. An additional round of counselling for Meghalaya MBBS 2018 may be conducted if in any case seats are left vacant, for which candidates from the waiting list will be called.
