NEET paper 2023 date was on May 7, here's the subject-wise analysis for NEET 2023
The overall difficulty level of the paper was easy to moderate. The numerical questions in NEET physics dominate as compared to previous years' NEET exams. The questions were NCERT-based. Meanwhile, a few tricky questions were found in Section B. As compared to last year NEET physics, the paper was slightly longer due to numerical questions.
NEET chemistry was rated as moderate with a few difficult questions. The paper carries a larger weightage of assertion-reason-type questions. NEET chemistry paper was completely NCERT syllabus-based with no questions beyond the NCERT syllabus. The chemistry question paper was equally distributed among inorganic, organic and physical chemistry.
The paper was rated as moderate to difficulty level. It was lengthy and time-consuming. The questions were taken from NCERT textbooks. More weightage was given to questions factual in nature with a few concept-based. Not a single incorrect question was included in the paper in comparison to last year.
The difficulty level was easy to moderate. Experts believe that the paper was lengthy and time-consuming due to matching column-type questions along with statement-based questions. Class 11 & 12 units- Human Physiology, Bio-Technology and Reproduction dominated the Zoology NEET paper. The paper was highly NCERT-centric.
To boost confidence for NEET, build a strong foundation by thoroughly understanding NCERT concepts. Create a structured study plan, focusing on weak areas while revising strong ones. Solve previous years’ papers and take regular mock tests to improve speed, accuracy, and time management. Analyze mistakes and work on them to enhance performance. Maintain a positive mindset and avoid comparison with others. Practice meditation or exercise to reduce stress. Stay consistent, trust your preparation, and remind yourself of past achievements. Surround yourself with supportive peers and mentors. With dedication and perseverance, confidence will naturally grow, leading to success.
For NEET 2024, the cutoff scores were reduced by two marks for each category compared to the original results. The revised cutoff percentiles and scores for NEET 2024 are:

Keep in mind that these scores are based on the revised results and may not reflect the exact cutoffs for the last round of admissions.
