There are around 52,720 seats for AYUSH undergraduate (UG) courses, including BAMS, in India. Of these, there are a total of 31811 BAMS Seats, out of which 4276 BAMS Seats are available in 57 government Ayurveda colleges, 1410 BAMS Seats are available in 21 government-aided Ayurveda colleges, 820 BAMS Seats are available in 9 deemed Universities Ayurveda Colleges, 138 BAMS seats available in 2 central University Ayurveda Colleges, 350 BAMS. The AYUSH Admission Central Counselling Committee (AACCC) is the counselling authority for these courses.
