The total INI CET qualified candidates list is released along with the results. AIIMS does not release INI CET statistics of the registered, appeared or qualified candidates. Students who qualify the exam will be allowed to take part in the counselling process and get admission for MD, MS, DM (6 yrs), MCh (6 yrs) courses.

AIIMS, PGIMER, NIMHANS, JIPMER and SCTIMST are considered as prestigious institutions in the country. To get admission in PG courses, aspirants find it convenient to appear for the examination.

Candidates who fail to get their preferred specialisation in the NEET PG exam appear for the INI CET exam.
After the declaration of results, the authority conducts the INI CET 2026 counselling in online mode. Candidates who qualify the exam are eligible to participate in the INI CET counselling. Such candidates will be required to fill and lock their preferences of courses and colleges. The allotment of seats is done based on merit list, choices filled by the candidates and availability of the seats in participating colleges.
