To apply for the Assam NEET MDS counselling, aspirants must have the following requirements as specified by the DME, Assam.
To fill 50% of the State Quota seats, DME conducts counselling based on the NEET MDS state merit derived from NEET MDS scores.
Candidates who secure a merit position up to 10 rank will be called for the counselling session first.
If a seat remains unfilled, state counselling authority releases the round 2 schedule and allows eligible candidates to participate.

The admission committee, DME, Assam, will publish the Assam MDS 2026 merit list online at its official website after the declaration of NEET MDS results. The names and categories of the candidates, their score, AIR rank, state rank will be listed on the merit list.
