Once the details are verified with the NBEMS database, candidates can proceed with registration and complete the online application form.
After filling in the required information, candidates must pay the counselling fee of Rs 3000 online to complete the registration process.
After successful registration and fee payment, candidates receive a candidate profile letter mentioning the document verification venue, reporting date and time slot. Candidates must physically visit the allotted verification centre with original documents and one set of self-attested photocopies for verification. Once the verification process is completed, candidates receive a server-generated verified certificate. Only verified candidates are allowed to participate in the choice filling and seat allotment process.
Candidates who complete document verification are required to log in to the counselling portal using their roll number and password. After logging in, candidates can view the list of available colleges and courses according to their eligibility. Candidates can add choices and arrange them according to their preference. Non-domicile candidates of West Bengal who are eligible only for Private Management seats, can view only private management quota seats and not State Quota seats.
Candidates must save their choices carefully, as unsaved choices will not be considered for allotment. After arranging the choices, candidates must lock their choices by entering their password. Once the choices are locked, no modifications will be allowed. If a candidate fails to lock the choices manually but has saved them, the system will automatically lock the saved choices after the deadline.
The counselling authority publishes the provisional seat allotment result based on factors such as inter-se merit rank, category, caste status, PwD status and eligibility criteria.
