Candidates who have qualified NEET MDS 2026 entrance examination.
Candidates who have completed their one year of Compulsory Rotatory Internship.
Candidates who have passed the BDS course from the Govt/Private Medical & Dental Colleges of U.P. are eligible for Government State Quota seats and Private Medical College seats.
Candidates who have passed MBBS/BDS from AMU, Aligarh; BHU, Varanasi; AIIMS Raebareli; and AIIMS Gorakhpur are not eligible for admission to Government State Quota Seats. Such candidates are eligible for admission only in Private Medical & Dental Colleges/Institutes/Universities.
Candidates who have passed MBBS/BDS from outside of Uttar Pradesh are eligible for admissions only in Private Medical & Dental Colleges/Institutes/Universities.
A candidate who has already taken admission on the basis of an earlier NEET MDS entrance examination is not eligible for the NEET MDS 2026 counselling until he/she completes and passes the course where he/she is presently admitted.

Enter all the details such as name, NEET MDS roll number, NEET MDS application number, date of birth, and other required information
Upload all the required documents
Pay the applicable fees of Rs. 3,000
Merit and Provisional List: DMET releases the state merit list of the eligible candidates based on the NEET MDS score and applicable state rules for the counselling.
Choice Filling and Locking
For choice filing of UPNEET MDS counselling, visit the official website
Login by using the NEET MDS Roll number and password created at the time of registration.
Candidate can fill as many choices as he/she wishes. The change of choice can be done before the final locking.
Candidates must know that the choice filing will not be complete till candidates finally submit and lock their choices within the scheduled time. Choice Locking is compulsory; if not locked, then online allotment of UP NEET MDS counselling will not occur.
Once the choice is locked, it cannot be altered/modified/changed.
Seat Allotment and Result: Based on the choices filled by the candidates, DMET releases the seat allotment list in online mode on the official website. Seat allotment in the UP NEET MDS counselling depends on different factors, such as the NEET MDS merit list, filled preferences, and the availability of seats and courses in the college.
Document Verification and Reporting to the College: After the release of the seat allotment list, candidates are required to submit all the required documents for verification and report to the allocated college according to the UP NEET MDS 2026 counselling dates provided by the officials. Candidates must carry original documents along with photocopies. Missing any documents can lead to the cancellation of allotment.
Joining and Admission Confirmation: Students are required to complete all the UP NEET MDS admission formalities at the allotted college within the last date. If a candidate fails to join within the given time period, that may lead to cancellation and forfeiture of the seat.
DME conducts the UP NEET MDS counselling 2026 in various rounds, which include round 1, round 2, round 3, and stray rounds. Candidates can check the details about the round-wise UP NEET MDS counselling below.
DMET, Uttar Pradesh, conducts rounds 1 and 2 of UP NEET MDS counselling in online mode. After the completion of the registration process and release of the merit list, candidates are required to appear in round 1 of UP NEET MDS 2026 counselling. Candidates who are not shortlisted for UP NEET MDS counselling 2026 round 1 can apply in the further rounds. In the first round of UP NEET MDS counselling, if a candidate does not take the admission to the allotted seat, candidates will be allowed for free exit.
After round 1 ends, if seats are vacant, then candidates who are not shortlisted can appear in round 2 of UP NEET MDS counselling. However, they must have been selected for the option of the upgrade. If the candidate is trying for an upgrade, it is advised not to fill in the choice for the same seat/college in which the candidate is already admitted. In case the candidate fills the same seat/college in the reshuffling rounds and the candidate is allotted the same seat again, then the previous allotment would automatically be cancelled.
The conversion of seats will be carried out during round 3 of UP NEET MDS counselling for State quota. The said conversion will be done only when the candidates belonging to the said conversion category have been exhausted.
Candidates who are allotted any seat from UP NEET MDS 2026 counselling but have not joined/been admitted/resigned will not be eligible to participate in the UP NEET MDS stray round counselling.
Any candidate who has taken admission in any PG course in any Medical & Dental College in India through AIQ counselling or other state quota counselling will not be eligible to participate in the UP NEET MDS counselling of the stray round.
Fresh registration with Rs 3000 is mandatory for the stray vacancy round and only these candidates will be included in the stray vacancy merit list of NEET MDS counselling Uttar Pradesh.
If a candidate is allotted a seat in stray round, the candidate has to report & join the allotted seat/college, or else he/she shall be debarred from UPNEET MDS counselling 2027 along with forfeiture of the security deposit.

Permanent / Provisional Registration Certificate (State Medical council /MCI/DCI)
Reservation certificate (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwD certificate), if applicable.
