While preparing the rank list of Bihar NEET PG, the BCECEB follows a tie-breaking criteria, in case two or more candidates have scored the same marks.
1. Fewer negative responses
The candidate with fewer negative responses across the entire question paper (Parts A, B, and C combined) is placed higher in the rank list.
2. Fewer negative responses in Section A
If the tie persists, the candidate with fewer negative responses in Section A of the question paper is ranked higher.
3. Fewer negative responses in Section B
If the tie still exists, the candidate with fewer negative responses in Section B is given a higher rank.
4. Higher aggregate marks in MBBS
If the tie remains unresolved, the candidate with higher aggregate marks (in percentage) in all MBBS professional examinations is placed higher.
For Indian citizens or OCI candidates with primary medical qualifications from abroad, their FMGE marks are considered.
5. Older candidate
If the tie still persists, the candidate who is older in age, as per the date of birth provided in the NEET PG application form, is assigned a higher rank.
