West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) conducts the Joint Entrance for Master of Science in Nursing (JEMScN). The authority has announced the JEMScN 2025 exam date. As per the schedule, the JEMScN 2025 exam will be conducted on July 13, 2025. The JEMScN 2025 application form will be released soon at wbjeeb.nic.in/jemscn/.
The JEMScN 2025 will be conducted in pen and paper mode. As per the JEMScN exam pattern, a total of 100 questions are asked for a duration of 90 minutes. Each question will carry one mark each. There is a negative marking of 1/4 mark for incorrect answers. The total marks for JEMScN is 100. Candidates who wish to appear in JEMScN 2025 must fill out their application forms before the last date. Candidates who want to apply for JEMScN exam 2025 must fulfil certain eligibility criteria specified by the authority. These JEMScN 2025 eligibility criteria can be checked below.
A candidate must be an Indian citizen.
Candidates should have completed BSc Nursing or B.Sc Nursing (Hons) or post basic or post basic B.Sc. (Hons)- from a recognised institute.
Candidates must have scored at least 55% marks in aggregate considering all academic years together in the examination.
The upper age limit to apply for JEMScN exam for WB state govt employees is 53 years.
There is no upper age limit for ESI and central govt employees.
WB state govt employees candidates should have at least 3 years of working experience after the publication of result of the qualifying examination.
In service WB candidates have to produce a letter of permission from the authority At the time of admission.
A minimum of one year of experience for ESI and central govt employees.
The application form of JEMScN 2025 is released online. Candidates wishing to apply for JEMScN exam must visit the official website wbjee.nic.in and submit the application form before the deadline. Candidates can check the steps below to complete the JEMScN 2025 application form process.
Step 1: JEMScN 2025 registration
Go to the official website, wbjeeb.nic.in/jemscn/.
Enter the personal details such as, name, father’s name, mother’s name, date of birth, gender, identification type and number, present and permanent address, mobile number and email ID.
Create a password, review and submit the registration form.
The JEMScN application number will be generated and will appear on the screen. The application number will also be sent on the registered mobile number and email address.
Once the registration is done, login using the newly created credentials.
Step 2: Filling out JEMScN application form
A candidate needs to fill up information such as, domicile, category, PwD status, religion, nationality, academic details.
Step 3: Uploading of images
Upload the required documents such as photograph and signature in JPG/JPEG format specified by the board.
Photo with 10 to 200 KB and signature with 4 to 30 KB are to be uploaded in one go
Step 4: Paying of application fee
Candidates must pay the application fee online through debit card/ credit card/ net banking//QR Code or UPI.

Step 5: Confirmation page: Once the payment is done successfully, candidates will be directed to download the ‘confirmation page’ which means that the application is complete.
Step 6: Taking a printout of JEMScN application form: Once the application form is submitted, candidates should take a printout of the duly filled application form for future reference.

JEMScN syllabus 2025 covers topics from the BSc nursing program. The JEMScN question paper will have two parts. JEMScN Part A carries questions from Anatomy, Physiology, Sociology, Psychology, Microbiology, Pathology, Pharmacology, Genetics, Administration, Education, Research & Statistics. JEMScN Part B covers topics from Foundation of Nursing, Medical Surgical Nursing, Pediatric Nursing, Psychiatric Nursing, Obstetrical Nursing and Community Health Nursing.
The JEMScN 2025 admit card is issued by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) in online mode. The JEMScN hall tickets will be available for registered candidates only. Candidates must carry their admit cards to the examination centre. Without it, no student will be allowed to sit in the examination. The board releases the provisional JEMScN answer key on the official website. Candidates need to log in to access the JEMScN answer key 2025. Candidates can also challenge the provisional answer key if they are not stratified. A non-refundable fee of Rs. 500/- per question plus the bank’s service charges will have to pay for challenging any answer. The board will review the challenges and publish the final answer key which cannot be challenged.
The board announces the JEMScN 2025 result in online mode on the official website. The JEMScN result is published in the form of a rank card, which will contain all relevant ranks and scores of candidates. To download the result, candidates need to log in by using the credentials.
