NEET PG All India & State College Predictor with Admission Process Guide
The FMGE October 2026 exam analysis starts on 31 October 2026, the day NBEMS conducts the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE). This live page carries the FMGE exam paper review, difficulty level, subject-wise questions, important topics and student reactions for the session. Findings are added as candidate feedback arrives. Until then, each section below shows its status, so that readers can see what is confirmed and what is pending.

NBEMS does not release the FMGE question paper or an official answer key. So every analysis rests on candidate recall and is unofficial. For context, the FMGE June 2026 exam analysis records how the previous session was reported. That analysis cannot predict the difficulty or the pattern of this session.

This section will cover the overall feel of the paper, the balance between recall and clinical questions, and how candidates described the time pressure. It will be written from several independent candidate accounts, not from a single report.
Status: pending candidate feedback.
Paper 1 covers the pre-clinical and para-clinical subjects: Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pathology, Microbiology, Pharmacology and Forensic Medicine. These carry 100 marks in the official distribution. The analysis will report difficulty, image-based questions and the topics candidates recall, subject by subject.
Status: pending candidate feedback.
Paper 2 covers the clinical subjects, which carry 200 marks. The analysis will report clinical case length, the share of management-based questions and any video-based questions.
The paper follows an official marks distribution by subject. The figures below are as reported on Careers360's FMGE subject-wise weightage page.
Subject | Marks |
Medicine | 33 |
General Surgery | 32 |
Obstetrics and Gynaecology | 30 |
Community Medicine | 30 |

Once candidate reports arrive, the analysis will compare the questions recalled per subject with this table. Status: pending.
Status: pending candidate feedback.
Each section will be checked against what the June 2026 session was reported to contain: clinical scenario-based questions, integrated multi-subject questions, image-based questions and video-supported questions. The Health Ministry told the Lok Sabha that the official demo test already included video-based questions. Whether the October paper repeats any of this will be recorded here only after candidates report it.
Status: pending candidate feedback.
Topics will be listed only when several candidates recall them. For revision before and after the exam, Careers360's most scoring topics of FMGE list repeated areas from earlier papers.
Status: pending. No rating is possible before candidate feedback.
A subject-wise difficulty rating will be added after enough independent reports are in. The existing FMGE difficulty level page covers earlier sessions. The June 2026 pass rate was 12.78%, according to the Health Ministry's reply in the Lok Sabha, as covered in the FMGE pass rate crash report.
There is no negative marking, so a good attempt means attempting all 300 questions. The score needed is 150, which is 50% accuracy across the whole paper. Each section of 50 questions runs for 50 minutes, which leaves 60 seconds per question. Candidates who left questions blank can compare their count with this rule once solutions are available. Status: candidate-reported attempts pending.
Memory-based questions are candidate recalls, not the official paper. They are useful for practice and trend spotting. Related resources are the FMGE question paper 2026 page and the FMGE memory-based questions article. Solutions for the 31 October paper will be added after the exam. They are prepared independently and are not official.
Status: pending. Reactions will be quoted only from candidate accounts that can be traced, with the subject or part each one refers to.
