    LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship is a national-level scholarship scheme for students belonging to economically weaker sections who want to pursue higher studies. Candidates who have passed Class 12 with at least 60% marks with less than 4.5 lakh family annual income are eligible to apply for LIC MBBS scholarship 2025. An amount of Rs 40,000 is awarded to selected students every year in two installments during the course.     To avail the LIC scholarship for MBBS, BDS, BAMS & BHMS course, candidates must have the following eligibility requirements to apply for the scholarship scheme. The following eligibility criteria for LIC scholarship[ scheme for MBBS can be checked below.

    • Candidates who have passed Class 12 or equivalent exam with a minimum pass percentage of 60% marks are eligible for MBBS scholarship.

    • Aspirants must have gained admission in the 2025-26 academic year.

    LIC Scholarship 2025 for MBBS, BDS, BAMS & BHMS: Selection process

    LIC scholarship for MBBS, BDS, BAMS & BHMS will be awarded to students based on academic merit and family income. However, preferences will be given to students whose annual income is less than Rs 2,50,000. In case of tie in the marks percentage, the priority will be given to students who have lower parental income.

    LIC BAMS Scholarship renewal rules

    • Medical aspirants must have secured at least 55% pass percentage in the previous semester or annual examination each year.

    • Students must maintain regular attendance.

    LIC MBBS Scholarship 2025 amount

    The LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship amount will be directly transferred to the beneficiary account. The LIC scholarship for MBBS, BDS, BAMS & BHMS does not fund students during internship or stipend periods. The amount of Rs 40,000 is given to students every year in two installments. The scholarship amount is provided during the main duration of the medical courses.
