    MCC NEET Counselling 2026 Process

    MCC NET 2026 counselling process includes online registration, payment of the counselling fee, choice filling and locking, seat allotment, document verification, and reporting to the allotted institute. Check the detailed process for MCC NEET Counselling 2026 below.

    Step1: MCC NEET Counselling Registration

    Candidates have to log in to the MCC portal - mcc.nic.in and click on the NEET UG counselling registration link. Enter all the required information, which includes NEET roll number, registration number, name, mother's name, and date of birth and pay the registration fee to complete the registration of MCC NEET counselling 2026.

    Step 2: MCC NEET Counselling 2026: Choice filling and locking

    Candidates who completed the registration for the NEET counselling 2026 need to fill and lock in their choices for the course and college. The authority opens the NEET choice-filling window in online mode. Candidates must note that seat allotment will be based on the choices filled by them. After the choice filling, aspirants are required to lock their choices for the final submission. If not, choices will be locked automatically.

    Step 3: MCC NEET Counselling 2026: Seat Allotment and Result

    Based on the choices filled by the candidates, MCC releases the seat allotment list in online mode on the official website. Seat allotment in the NEET counselling by MCC depends on different factors, such as the NEET score, filled preferences, and the availability of seats and courses in the college.

    Step 4: MCC NEET Counselling 2026: Document verification and reporting to the college

    After the release of the seat allotment list, candidates are required to submit all the required documents for verification and report to the allocated college according to the MCC NEET 2026 counselling dates provided by the officials.     MCC NEET counselling 2026: Free exit Vs Exit With Forfeiture

    Free Exit (only for round 1) - A candidate assigned a seat in round 1 who does not join/report to the college to which they have been assigned would not be penalised (the security deposit would not be forfeited). Candidates will be eligible for further rounds.

    Exit with forfeiture - This means that candidates will not be eligible for a refund of the security deposit and fees paid. The conditions for forfeiture are:

    • If a candidate is offered a seat in round 2 and subsequent rounds but does not intend to take the seat, they can still exit with forfeiture (losing the security amount deposited) within the period given.

    • Candidates joining the allotted seat in the third round will not be eligible to resign/surrender their seats and will not be permitted to participate in further rounds.

    • Candidates who do not report for an allotted seat lose claim to the seat with forfeiture of fees and will not be allowed to participate in further rounds.

    MCC NEET Counselling 2026: College Options

    As we know, MCC NEET counselling is conducted for the 15% AIQ seats in all the government colleges. Candidates can check the college options that come under NEE AIQ counselling 2026.

    • Delhi University (LHMC, UCMS, MAMC): - 85% institutional quota seats for Delhi candidates (who have passed their 10+2 from Delhi). 15% of seats are open to students from all over India.

    • Aligarh Muslim University (AMU):- 50% Institutional reservation for candidates who have studied for the past 3 years in AMU schools. The remaining 50% of seats are open for All India candidates.

    • BHU:- Open to All India candidates

    • Faculty of Dentistry, Jamia Millia Islamia, Delhi: 47 seats are open to All India candidates. The remaining 3 seats fall under the JMI internal quota and are open to students who have passed their 10+ 2 from Jamia Schools.

    • IPU University (VMMC & SJH): 15% seats for All India and 85% of seats for students who have passed their 10+2 from Delhi.
