In case two or more medical aspirants secure equal marks in the NEET exam, the inter-se-merit is determined by applying the NEET 2025 tie breaking policy. • Candidates securing higher marks in Biology (Botany and Zoology) will be given preference.

• If the tie persists, candidates with higher marks in Chemistry will be considered.

• In case the tie still remains, the candidate with higher marks in Physics will be preferred.

• If the tie is still not resolved, then the candidates with less proportion of the number of attempted incorrect and correct answers in all subjects will be preferred.

• Followed by the candidates with less proportion of the number of attempted incorrect and correct answers in Biology will be preferred.

• In case tie is still not resolved, the candidates with less proportion of the number of attempted incorrect and correct answers in Chemistry will be given preference.

• If tie is still the same, the candidates with less proportion of the number of attempted incorrect and correct answers in Physics will be ranked higher.

• Lastly, if all the criteria are exhausted, the NEET UG 2025 tie will be resolved by a random process, with the guidance of an independent expert committee.
