To register for NEET PG 2026, candidates must fulfill eligibility criteria related to academic qualification, internship, and registration as prescribed by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) and the National Medical Commission (NMC).
Educational Qualification: Candidates must hold an MBBS degree or a provisional pass certificate recognised by the NMC
Internship Requirement: A compulsory one-year rotatory internship must be completed by the deadline set by the NBEMS.
Medical Registration: Applicants must possess a valid permanent or provisional registration certificate issued by the NMC or a State Medical Council (SMC).
Foreign Medical Graduates (FMGs) must qualify the FMGE, while foreign nationals need temporary registration from the NMC.
Attempts & Age Limit: There is no restriction on the number of attempts or upper age limit.
To register for the NEET PG 2026, applicants must complete a multi-step online application on the official NBEMS websites, natboard.edu.in or nbe.edu.in. The step-by-step registration process of NEET PG 2026 exam is as following -
Online Registration: Visit the official website and click on the "NEET PG 2026" link under the "Entrance Examinations" section. Select "New Registration" to create a user profile by providing your name, date of birth, mobile number, and email ID.
Generate Credentials: After submitting the basic details, a unique User ID and Password will be sent to the registered email and mobile number.
Fill Application Form: Log in with the new credentials to access the full application and fill the personal details (Father’s name, mother’s name, category, and identification details), academic details (MBBS marks, university details, and qualifying exam status), details of the rotatory internship and valid medical registration with the NMC/State Medical Council.
Select Exam City: Choose the preferred NEET PG 2026 exam city from the available list. Seats are generally allotted on a first-come, first-served basis.
Upload Documents: Provide scanned copies of required documents in the prescribed format (typically JPEG/JPG for images and PDF for certificates):
Photograph: Recent passport-size (white background) and a real-time photo captured via webcam.
Signature & Thumb Impression: Scanned left-hand thumb impression and signature.
Certificates: MBBS degree/provisional certificate and internship completion certificate.
Pay Application Fee: Complete the process by paying the non-refundable fee online via credit/debit card or net banking.
Submit & Print: Review all details one last time and submit. Download and print the Confirmation Page for future reference during counselling and admission.

MBBS Degree or Provisional Pass Certificate.
Internship Completion Certificate
Medical Registration Certificate (Permanent/Provisional) issued by MCI/NMC or SMC.
Valid Photo ID (Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID, or Passport).
Category Certificate if applying under SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwD quotas.
To successfully complete the registration process, candidates are required to pay the NEET PG registration 2026 fees. The NEET PG 2026 registration fee can be paid in online mode only.
