NEET PG Last Week Revision Plan 2026: A few days are left before NEET PG 2026. This changes how you should study now. The last week before NEET PG is not for new chapters. It is not the time to open a topic you have never touched. This week must be dedicated to what you already know. Stop losing marks to small, careless mistakes. This NEET PG last week revision plan for 2026 gives you a day-wise schedule for the next seven days, aligned with the current exam pattern. Your last week must train you for this time pressure, not just for the syllabus.

If you still have more than seven days, start with our NEET PG 2026 last 15 days revision strategy guide. It is the tighter, final-week version. Use it once you are down to single digits on the calendar. Which subjects need more of your time this week? Our NEET PG 2026 high-weightage subjects article breaks that down.

    NEET PG 2026 Exam Pattern

You already know the syllabus. Most students do not train for one thing: the sectional format. There are five sections. Each has 36 questions. You get 42 minutes per section. You cannot move to the next section early. You also cannot go back once time is up. In your last week, this detail matters more than any single subject. A student can know the full syllabus and still lose marks. Bad time management on exam day is enough to do that.

How a NEET PG Last Week Revision Plan Is Different From a Normal Study Week

This week is not for new learning. Follow these three simple rules in the last week.

Rule 1: No new topics - Have you not started studying yet? Do not start it now. Learning something fresh this week can hurt more than help. Stick to what you already know.

Rule 2: Use only your own notes – textbooks are too slow at this stage. Go back to your short notes. Use your flashcards. Use your error log.

Rule 3: Practice with a 42-minute clock – Do not just attempt full mock papers. Set a timer for 42 minutes. Solve 36 questions in that time. Do this as a separate exercise. This will help build the exact speed NEET PG needs.

NEET PG Last Week Revision Plan 2026: Day-Wise Schedule

Here is the full seven-day plan:

    Day

    Focus

    What To Do

    Day 7

    Medicine + Surgery

Revise only weak topics from your error notebook; no fresh reading; one 42-minute sectional drill

    Day 6

    Obstetrics & Gynaecology + Pediatrics

Rapid revision from notes; attempt one full-length mock test under sectional timing

    Day 5

    Pathology + Pharmacology + Microbiology

Quick pass through high-yield tables and drug lists; review yesterday's mock errors

    Day 4

    PSM + Anatomy + Physiology + Biochemistry

Revise numbers, formulas, and diagrams; one 42-minute sectional drill

    Day 3

Full Mock Test + Complete Error Review

Attempt a final full-length paper; go through every wrong answer from this entire week

    Day 2

Short Subjects (Ophthalmology, ENT, Orthopaedics, Anaesthesia, Radiology, Psychiatry, Dermatology, Forensic Medicine)

One quick pass through all short subjects together; revise only flagged weak areas

    Day 1 (Exam Eve)

    Light Revision Only

One-page notes and formulas only; confirm admit card, ID proof, and travel plan; sleep early

NEET PG 2026 Last Week Preparation Tips That Actually Work

    • Stop new question sets by Day 2. After this, only review old mistakes.

    • Keep one single record for every mock test error. By Day 3, this log is worth more than any textbook.

    • Sleep seven hours every night this week. No exceptions. A tired brain forgets fast. You can lose things you knew well just days ago.

    • Practice the 42-minute drill at least twice this week. Do this apart from full mock tests. Speed is a separate skill.

    • Eat and drink water as you always do. Do not try a new diet this week. Do not try anything new before a long exam day.

What to Avoid in the Final Week Before NEET PG 2026

    • Do not touch a topic you have never studied. A quick overview this late adds confusion, not marks.

    • Do not cut sleep to study more. Extra waking hours rarely give you extra marks now.

    • Do not attempt a mock test after Day 3. Use the last days to review, not to add more test fatigue.

    • Do not compare your progress with classmates. Everyone's weak list is different this week. Comparing only adds stress you do not need.

NEET PG 2026 Exam Day Checklist After Your Last Week Revision

Keep your admit card ready the night before. Keep a valid photo ID ready too. Keep your passport-size photo ready. Check the exact list on the NEET PG 2026 exam page. Plan your travel with extra time in hand. During the paper, do not get stuck on one hard question. Each section only gives you 42 minutes. Mark the tough question. Move to the next one. Come back to it only if time is left in that same section. Your last week of focused work has already done its job. You just need to walk in and use it.

    Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Q: What should I study in the last week before NEET PG 2026?
    A:

Focus on revision, not new learning. Go back to your own notes, flashcards, and error log. Give more time to Medicine, Surgery, OBG, and Pathology. But do not skip short subjects like ENT and Ophthalmology. They are quick to revise, and they still carry marks.

Q: Should I attempt a mock test in the last two or three days before NEET PG?
    A:

It is better to stop full-length mock tests about three days before the exam. Use the last two or three days to go through your old mock test mistakes. Do not add new test fatigue right before exam day.

Q: How is a last week revision plan different from a 15-day revision plan?
    A:

A 15-day plan still has room for full revision across every subject. A last week plan is tighter. It drops all new learning. It only strengthens what you already know. It also trains you on the exam's section timing. And it makes you review old mock test errors one more time.
