For NEET PG 2025 counselling, the National Medical Commission (NMC) has authorised 2,337 additional postgraduate medical seats, bringing the total to 52,244 seats. With 422 seats added, Karnataka has the most, followed by Gujarat, Maharashtra, and Uttar Pradesh. Pediatrics, Emergency Medicine, Anaesthesiology, Obstetrics, and Gynecology are among the MD and MS courses covered by the additional seats. After the completion of the registration process, students are required to fill in their choices as per their preferences of colleges. Students can make as many choices as they want for Puducherry MD/MS PG diploma admissions.
On the basis of the NEET PG merit list of Puducherry, choices filled and the availability of seats, the process of allotment will be done. Applicants who will be granted admission are required to report at the allotted colleges within the specified dates with the required documents. Aspirants are advised to download admission letters for CENTAC Puducherry NEET PG counselling before reporting to the allotted colleges.
If the seats are left vacant in round 1, applicants who will not be shortlisted for the first round can take part in round 2 of Puducherry PG medical counselling along with the fresh candidates. Not Allotted Candidates: Candidates who were not allotted any seat in Round 1 and Round 2.
Joined Candidates: Candidates who are allotted in Round 1 or Round 2 and want to upgrade in Round 3. Those who were admitted in round 1 but did not participate in round 2 and want an upgrade in round 3. Candidates who resigned from the admitted seat of round 1 or round 2 with forfeiture before the commencement of round 3.
Not Joined Candidates – Those who did not join the round 1 or round 2 allotted seat and want to participate in round 3 of Puducherry NEET PG counselling 2025.
Not Participated Candidates – CENTAC applied candidates who did not participate in round 1 and round 2 and want to participate in round 3.
The stray round is the last round of Puducherry NEET PG 2025 counselling. Candidates who did not participate in the last three rounds or did not join the allotted college or were not shortlisted can participate along with the fresh candidates.

Yes, candidates have to provide NEET PG roll number and application number to register for Puducherry NEET PG 2025 counselling.
Candidates from the general and OBC categories have to pay the application fee of Rs. 3,000 whereas SC/ST/PwD have to pay Rs. 1500 for Puducherry NEET PG counselling registration.

You may get a seat in private or deemed colleges , mainly in UP. Chances in other states like Maharashtra, Karnataka, Telangana, Tamil Nadu are lower due to domicile rules and local quota preference.
