UP MBBS Application Form 2018 - 
Directorate of Medical Education and Training, Lucknow is the responsible body for releasing UP MBBS 2018 application form. The registration process for round two has started on July 13, 2018, and candidates will now be allowed to fill the form till July 18, 2018. Earlier, the last date for registration was extended to July 16, 2018. The registration process for round one got over on June 24, 2018. UP MBBS 2018 application form will be only available in online mode. Candidates can check here for all the updates on the availability date of the Uttar Pradesh MBBS application form 2018.

Candidates who are keen on being considered for UP MBBS admission 2018 should fill UP MBBS application form 2018. Admission to any medical and dental institutes across Uttar Pradesh will be done on the basis of NEET UG. Therefore, taking NEET 2018 becomes mandatory for admission to 85% State Quota seats available in Uttar Pradesh state. UP MBBS BDS Application Form 2018 - Last Date for Registration Extended

The last date to register for the second round of counselling has been extended again. DMET has released an official notice regarding the same which can be checked here by the candidates. As per the notice, the verification process is suspended till there is any further notification released on the official website of Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). The centralised counselling conducting authority, MCC, released a notice on July 12 stating that all the counselling processes are put on hold in accordance with the final judgement of the Madras High Court.

UP MBBS BDS Eligibility Criteria 2018

  • The candidate should be between 17 to 25 years of age for UP MBBS admission 2018. There is a relaxation of five years for SC/ST/OBC category candidates.

  • The candidate should be a domicile of UP state or should complete Class 10 and Class 12 from the state.

  • The candidate should pass Class 12 or equivalent examination by scoring passing marks in Biology, Physics, Chemistry and English.

  • The candidate is also required to score 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology in Class 12 or equivalent examination. For SC/ST/OBC category candidates, this percentage should be 40% and for PH category candidates it is 45%.

  • The candidate should have appeared and qualified NEET 2018.

UP MBBS BDS Application Form 2018 – Procedure

Step 1 – Registration

Interested candidates will be required to click on the link given above to fill the registration form. The application process for UP MBBS admission 2018 will start by registration wherein the candidates have to fill in their details which are listed below-

  • Name

  • Age as on 31 December (the year of taking NEET)

  • Residential Address

  • Father’s name

  • Email Address

  • Mother’s name

  • Candidate’s category

  • Details of the examination passed

  • Name of institute/ board

  • Marks obtained in Chemistry, Biology and Physics

  • Nationality

  • Domicile

The details are mandatory and should be same as mentioned in NEET application form 2018. After completing the step 1, candidates will have to go through the details entered in the application form and click ‘Save and Next’.

Step 2: Upload Documents

The UP MBBS application form 2018 has to be supported with some documents in order to be considered for UP MBBS admission 2018. The mandatory documents to be uploaded should be first scanned and then uploaded. The candidates can check here the list of the documents along with the size that they should be uploaded in -

Step 3: Application Fee

To complete the UP MBBS application form 2018, candidates are required to pay a certain amount to register themselves for UP MBBS admission 2018. The application fee has to be paid in online mode either through net banking or Debit/Credit card of any bank. Candidates are required to pay application fee of INR 2,000 which is non-refundable. The candidates who want to participate in the counselling of government colleges have to pay INR 30,000 as security fee and those who want to participate in the counselling of private colleges have to submit INR 2,00,000. If a candidate wants to participate in the counselling of government and private colleges then they have to pay the higher fee which is INR 2,00,000. 

 

Step 4: Submit

The final step is to submit the Uttar Pradesh MBBS application form 2018, before doing so candidates must verify all the information filled in the application form. Once the verification is complete, candidates can click on the ‘Submit’ button to save their details. After the submission, candidates will come across a declaration which states that the information shared in the UP MBBS 2018 application form is hereby true and the candidate is responsible for any misleading information found in the application form. After going through the declaration form, candidates have to click on the ‘I Accept’ button and submit the UP MBBS application form 2018.

It is advisable to take a printout of UP MBBS 2018 application form to use in subsequent rounds.
