UP MBBS Merit List 2019 - Directorate of Medical Education and Training (DMET), Lucknow, has released UP MBBS 2019 merit list for mop-up round on August 20. The authority had released the merit list on June 25. The merit list of UP MBBS BDS 2019 had been released in online mode only. The schedule for document verification process had also been released along with UP MBBS BDS merit list 2019. Only candidates who have registered themselves for UP MBBS admission 2019 and possess valid NEET score as per the eligibility criteria are included in the Uttar Pradesh rank list. The UP MBBS merit list 2019 provides information like UP State rank, roll number, category, sub-category, NEET marks, NEET percentile, NEET rank and fee payment status. Candidates whose name appear in the rank list are required to report to their chosen nodal centre on the date as specified for their rank. However, inclusion in the merit list of UP MBBS 2019 merely implies that the candidates are eligible to participate in further admission process of UP MBBS BDS 2019, it does not mean that the candidate has secured a seat. Inclusion in merit list is just one step of the admission process and allows the candidates to know whether they are eligible for further processes or not. DMET is conducting the document verification session, the details of which has been posted on this page. Candidates are required to report as per their state merit rank. Candidates who will be participating in the first round of counselling and are willing to participate in the second round to upgrade the choices will not be asked to attend the document verification session for round two. Candidates participating in the document verification session will need to carry the relevant documents in original to be get UP MBBS 2019 admission.
UP MBBS Document Verification schedule
The tiebreaker criteria is used when two or more candidates score the exact same scores in NEET 2019 and thus to pick a candidate, there are four parameters that are used to break the tie which are listed below -
Candidate with higher score in Biology will be selected over the ones who have lesser marks.
If the above parameter does not help to pick a candidate, then the candidate with higher marks in Chemistry will be considered to break the tie.
Candidates with lesser wrong answers in NEET is given priority, if the tie still persists.
If the above three tie-breakers fail to resolve the tie, then the candidate who is older in age will be given preference.
On the basis of NEET 2019 score, the candidates will be provided with a state merit rank.
The candidates added in UP MBBS merit list 2019 will be eligible to participate in document verification process.
The candidates will be called for document verification session based on their state merit rank.
The merit list will include details like UP NEET State Rank, Roll Number, Name, UP Category, UP Sub Category, NEET Marks, NEET Percentile, NEET Rank and Fee payment status of all candidates who applied for UP MBBS admissions 2019

Priyanka, you can just study Biology as an additional subject from NIOS instead of all 3 Physics, Chemistry and Biology and you can still be eligible for NEET. Now even NIOS students are eligible for NEET. You need to score a minimum aggregate of 50% in these 3 subjects to be eligible for NEET. It is 50% for General Category, 45% for PWD and 40% for OBC,SC,ST.
NTA has released a press notification that you can select any State under State of Eligibility for All India Counselling. This is because no matter which State you hold the domicile of, you will be eligible for All India Counselling of all States except for Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh because Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh do not participate in All India Counselling.
The Information Bulletin says that Candidates who belong to Minority community for example Muslim, Christian, Sikh, Buddhist, Jain and Parsi can select Minority as Yes in the application form. Shaheen, be eligible for NEET, you should have completed your 12th with Ohysics, Chemistry and Biology as your core subjects. Even studying Biology as an additional subject will do. But you need to score a minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. It is 50% for General Category, 45% for PWD and 40% for OBC,SC,ST. If you fulfil this criteria, you can in general apply for NEET but unfortunately not for 2020 because the application process has been closed by January 6th after extending it once. You may have to wait until 2021.
