    UPNEET Merit List 2026: Eligibility Criteria

    For inclusion in the merit list of UP MBBS 2026, aspirants need to meet the NEET eligibility criteria. As specified by the authority, aspirants need to secure the NEET cutoff percentile and scores as declared by the National Testing Agency (NTA).     UP NEET 2026 Merit List: Tie-breaking Criteria

    In case the marks in the NEET result are the same, then the authority follows the tie-breaking criteria to prepare the UP NEET state merit list 2026.

    • Aspirants with higher marks in Biology in NEET 2026 will be awarded a better rank in the merit list.
    • Candidates with better marks in Chemistry will be selected over the ones with fewer marks in a particular subject.
    • Students with better marks in Physics will be given preference.
    • In case, a tie still exists, then students with fewer incorrect answers will be given priority above others.

    What After UP NEET UG 2026 Merit List?

    Once the UP NEET state merit rank is available and documents are verified, the eligible candidates are called for the UP MBBS counselling process. Aspirants are called for the counselling process based on UP NEET merit rank. To participate in the counselling process, registered aspirants have to provide their preferences of colleges to which they wish to get admission. Based on state merit rank, filled college choices, seat availability in the particular college, reservation criteria and other factors, admission to UP NEET 2026 is granted.
