A candidate must be a citizen of India
Aspirants must have passed the BDS examination from any dental college of Bihar state or any other institute in India approved by the Medical Council of India/ National Medical Commission
Candidates must have completed one-year compulsory rotating internship as per the provision made by MCC
Candidates must have obtained permanent registration from the Dental Council of India or Bihar State Dental Council.

The application process of Bihar NEET MDS is held online. Candidates fulfilling the Bihar NEET MDS eligibility criteria need to follow the below mentioned steps to register for counselling.
Visit the official website of state counselling official portal: becebcoard.bihar.gov.in
Complete the registration using your NEET MDS roll number and other required details.
After registrations, fill the Bihar NEET MDS application form by entering personal, educational details, contact information, employment and other details.
Upload candidate’s photograph and signature and required documents in the specified format and click on ‘Submit’.
Pay Bihar NEET MDS application form fee.
Download and save the application form for future reference.

Once the application form is submitted, candidates with their names mentioned in the rank list need to fill in their preferences for colleges and courses in online mode in order of preference. Candidates will have to lock their filled choices before the scheduled date and time. If a candidate locks their choices and again wants to modify their choices list, then the candidate will be allowed to edit their choices by clicking on the "Unlock Choices" link available on the screen. If a candidate does not lock their filled up choices within the scheduled last date, their choices will get automatically locked by the authority.
The Bihar NEET MDS 2026 seat allotment result is declared on the official website. The authority releases the provisional seat allotment result first. Candidates will be allowed to raise their objections against the provisional result. After reviewing the submission received, the final seat allotment is released. Candidates who are allotted seats need to download the allotment letter before reporting to the allotted institutes. Allotted candidates who are willing for upgradation after round 1 seat allotment, such candidates have to appear for document verification at their reporting centre. However, their submitted documents will be retained at the reporting centre and they have to wait for round 2 seat allotment to secure admission.
