In case two or more candidates secure equal marks in the Chandigarh NEET PG 2026 merit list, GMCH uses the NEET MD/MS tie-breaking process as mentioned below.
Greater number of correct responses - Candidates with a greater number of correct responses will be placed higher in merit list
Lesser number of negative responses - If the tie still exists, Aspirants with less number of negative answers will be allotted better rank
Age - If the tie doest break, the older candidate will be given first preference
Higher aggregate marks in MBBS - Candidates securing higher aggregate marks (in percentage) in all MBBS professional examinations will be considered first in the merit list.
Using the cut off of NEET PG, GMCH releases the category-wise rank list NEET PG 2026 Chandigarh containing merit rank. On the basis of merit rank, candidates will be called for Chandigarh NEET PG 2026 counselling for admission to 50% state quota seats.
To appear for the counselling of Chandigarh NEET PG 2026, aspirants need to register themselves using personal, contact and other details. You generally do not need to upload your physical category certificate during the initial online application. However, you must declare your category (OBC-NCL) to claim reservation benefits and enter the certificate details. You must provide the physical certificate during counseling and document verification.

For the NEET PG application form, you do not need to upload your actual OBC or OBC-NCL (Non-Creamy Layer) certificate. You only need to declare your category and claim the OBC-NCL reservation during the registration phase.

As of now, the revised NEET MDS 2026 eligibility/qualifying score has not been officially announced by NBEMS . The current qualifying criteria remain:
General/EWS: 50th percentile
SC/ST/OBC: 40th percentile
General PwD: 45th percentile
