    Tie-breaking criteria of Chandigarh NEET PG 2026

    In case two or more candidates secure equal marks in the Chandigarh NEET PG 2026 merit list, GMCH uses the NEET MD/MS tie-breaking process as mentioned below.

    • Greater number of correct responses - Candidates with a greater number of correct responses will be placed higher in merit list

    • Lesser number of negative responses - If the tie still exists, Aspirants with less number of negative answers will be allotted better rank

    • Age - If the tie doest break, the older candidate will be given first preference

    • Higher aggregate marks in MBBS - Candidates securing higher aggregate marks (in percentage) in all MBBS professional examinations will be considered first in the merit list.
