INI SS Memory Based Question Paper with Solutions: The Stage I exam for the INI-SS January 2027 session is scheduled for October 24, 2026. Once the exam is over and candidates start recalling what they saw, the INI SS memory-based questions and solutions will be updated here. Until then, this article covers what to expect from the paper and how this question set will be put together. The name "January 2027 Session" refers to when the course starts, not when the exam happens. That's why an exam held in October 2026 carries a 2027 label. You'll also see some websites call it the "November 2026 exam". The INI SS exam is conducted by AIIMS New Delhi for DM, MCh and MD (Hospital Administration) seats.

Memory-based means just that. Candidates write down what they remember after the exam. It isn't the official paper. AIIMS doesn't release the question paper for a computer-based test like this one. So wording, numbers and option order can differ a little from what you saw on screen. That's normal. The concept being tested is what matters.
Here is what the page will look like once the exam is done.

This is the pattern reported across sources for Stage I. The AIIMS notice and your admit card are the final word.
Mode: Computer-based test, English.
Questions: 80 multiple-choice questions, one correct answer each.
Marks and time: 80 marks in 90 minutes.
Marking: +1 for a correct answer, −1/3 for a wrong one. Unattempted questions carry no penalty.
Content: Your speciality plus general medical concepts from your MD/MS background.
Stage I is open to every applicant. If you want an AIIMS or PGIMER Chandigarh seat, a Stage II (clinical departmental assessment) follows for those who clear the cut-off.
INI SS isn't one paper for everyone. Your questions depend on the DM or MCh speciality you applied for. A cardiology candidate and a nephrology candidate won't see the same speciality questions.
So a single long list wouldn't help anyone. Recalled questions will be grouped by speciality, with common general-medicine questions kept in their own group. If a speciality has too little recall to be reliable, it won't be added.
The process is simple. Candidates share what they remember. Those recalls get compared with each other, then checked against standard textbooks and current guidelines. Answers go in only after that. If a question can't be verified, it won't be shown as confirmed.
Write down what you remember in the first hour. Recall fades fast. Don't wait till tomorrow.
Note the topic, not just the question. A one-line note on the concept is enough.
Check your answers later. Use the verified set once it's up, not a random group chat.
Keep an eye on the result. It's expected around October 31. Details will be on official site.
