The authority has released the revised merit list of J&K NEET PG counselling 2024. Based on the revised J&K NEET PG merit list, the round 2 counselling after cutoff reduction will be conducted by the authority soon.

The authority prepares J&K MD/MS merit list 2024 based on the scores obtained by the candidates in NEET PG exam During the counselling process, candidates will need to fill in their choice of course and colleges. J&K MD/MS seat allotment 2024 will be done based on the NEET PG score, preferences made by the candidates, availability of seats, reservation criteria and other factors. How to fill J&K NEET PG application form?
Visit the official website jkbopee.gov.in
Under section NEET PG/MDS, select ‘Click here to apply’
Enter details such as name, contact number, email ID, date of birth etc.
A login credential is generated and sent to the registered email ID and mobile number
Login with registration credential and enter the personal and academic details
Upload documents according to the given format
Pay the online application fee Rs. 2,000 to complete the application process
JKBOPEE NEET PG 2024 - Eligibility criteria
Given below is a list of eligibility criteria to get admission in J&K NEET PG. Candidates are advised to check the eligibility before applying for J&K NEET PG admission.
Both residents and non-residents of India can fill out the application form.
The students of Jammu & Kashmir/ Ladakh must be permanent residents.
No age limitation for applying JKBOPEE NEET PG admission.
Candidates must have an MBBS/ BDS degree from an institute of Jammu or Kashmir recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCC) or Dental Council of India (DCI).
Candidates must have the registration certificate issued by the MCI/ SMC (State Medical Council) and DCI/ SDC (State Dental Council).
Graduate students should have completed or are about to complete their rotatory internship of one year on or before August 11, 2024.
Candidates must secure minimum NEET PG cutoff score.

The counselling process consists of several steps, beginning with registration. To apply for admission through counselling, candidates must have qualified for NEET PG. The entire process is explained below.
Step 1: Registration
Candidates must apply on the official website and submit an application form for seat allotment. Paying the registration fee is mandatory to complete the application form submission for J&K medical PG admission.
Step 2: Release of state merit list
After registration, a J&K NEET PG merit list is released, which includes candidates whose applications have been accepted. The merit list for J&K NEET PG counselling contains details such as the candidate's name, category, All India Rank in the NEET PG exam, scores, state rank, etc. Candidates included in the state merit list are provisionally eligible for the J&K NEET PG counselling.
Step 3: Choice Filling
Candidates included in the state merit list are required to fill in their choices for colleges and courses they wish to be admitted to. They can declare their preferences online and must lock their choices within the given deadline. Once the choices are locked, they cannot be modified.
Step 4: Seat allotment
The counselling authority allocates seats based on the choices filled by candidates, NEET PG rank, availability of seats, and reservation criteria. A separate result is released for each round of counselling, with a total of three rounds, including a mop-up round for J&K NEET PG admission. After seat allotment, candidates must report to their respective allotted institutes for document verification and to complete other admission formalities.

Maharashtra provides a 'Hilly Area Reservation' for medical admissions, mainly for MBBS courses. To qualify, candidates must have studied in schools located in hilly areas as per their parents' domicile.
However, for NEET PG (MDS) , there is no specific mention of hilly area reservation.

Yes, you can write
NEET PG
while continuing your current MD course in a private college. You are not required to discontinue the MD course before writing the exam. However, if you secure admission to another MD/MS/DNB course through NEET PG and wish to join it, you will need to officially resign from your current MD program.
Important Points to Consider:

Bond and Penalty:
Most private colleges have a service bond or penalty for discontinuing an MD course. If you leave before completing the course, you may have to pay the bond amount or a penalty.

Eligibility Criteria:
Ensure that your current college has no restrictions on appearing for NEET PG while pursuing an MD.
- Counseling Process: If you get a new seat through NEET PG, you must formally resign from your current course before joining the new one.
It's advisable to carefully check the bond agreement and college policies before proceeding.

In the context of Telangana’s NEET PG 2024 admissions, it is essential to understand the distinction between various quota categories to navigate the application process effectively.
- Management Quota: In this seats are reserved for candidates who may not have secured admission through the regular merit - based process. These seats often come with higher tuition fees and are filled based on different criteria set by the institution. In Telangana, candidates seeking admission under the management quota must have qualified in the NEET PG examination and other specific criteria.
- Institutional Quota: IT can vary in meaning across different states and institutions. General it refers to seat allocated at the discretion of the institutions, potentially for candidates associated with the institution or its stakeholders. However in the context of Andhra Pradesh (AP) there is not a specific “institutional quota”. Instead AP has a “convenor quota”, which pertains to government seats allocated in private medical colleges.

Hello,
If you've been allotted a seat in the NEET PG All India Quota (AIQ) stray vacancy round and choose not to accept it, consider the following:
-
Forfeiture of Security Deposit : Not joining the allotted seat will result in the loss of your security deposit.
-
Debarment from Future Exams : You will be barred from taking the NEET exam in the subsequent year.
-
Ineligibility for State Counselling : Data of candidates who have joined seats in Round 3 will be shared with state counselling authorities, and such candidates will be prohibited from participating in subsequent state counselling rounds.
Therefore, if you do not accept the seat allotted in the AIQ stray vacancy round, you will be ineligible to participate in your state's third round of counselling .
