The Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (BOPEE), J&K conducts the JKBOPEE NEET PG counselling 2024 for 50% state quota seats. The authority has released the revised merit list of J&K NEET PG counselling 2024. Based on the revised J&K NEET PG merit list, the round 2 counselling after cutoff reduction will be conducted by the authority soon.

The authority prepares J&K MD/MS merit list 2024 based on the scores obtained by the candidates in NEET PG exam During the counselling process, candidates will need to fill in their choice of course and colleges. J&K MD/MS seat allotment 2024 will be done based on the NEET PG score, preferences made by the candidates, availability of seats, reservation criteria and other factors. How to fill J&K NEET PG application form?
Visit the official website jkbopee.gov.in
Under section NEET PG/MDS, select ‘Click here to apply’
Enter details such as name, contact number, email ID, date of birth etc.
A login credential is generated and sent to the registered email ID and mobile number
Login with registration credential and enter the personal and academic details
Upload documents according to the given format
Pay the online application fee Rs. 2,000 to complete the application process
JKBOPEE NEET PG 2024 - Eligibility criteria
Given below is a list of eligibility criteria to get admission in J&K NEET PG. Candidates are advised to check the eligibility before applying for J&K NEET PG admission.
Both residents and non-residents of India can fill out the application form.
The students of Jammu & Kashmir/ Ladakh must be permanent residents.
No age limitation for applying JKBOPEE NEET PG admission.
Candidates must have an MBBS/ BDS degree from an institute of Jammu or Kashmir recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCC) or Dental Council of India (DCI).
Candidates must have the registration certificate issued by the MCI/ SMC (State Medical Council) and DCI/ SDC (State Dental Council).
Graduate students should have completed or are about to complete their rotatory internship of one year on or before August 11, 2024.
Candidates must secure minimum NEET PG cutoff score.

The counselling process consists of several steps, beginning with registration. To apply for admission through counselling, candidates must have qualified for NEET PG. The entire process is explained below.
Step 1: Registration
Candidates must apply on the official website and submit an application form for seat allotment. Paying the registration fee is mandatory to complete the application form submission for J&K medical PG admission.
Step 2: Release of state merit list
After registration, a J&K NEET PG merit list is released, which includes candidates whose applications have been accepted. The merit list for J&K NEET PG counselling contains details such as the candidate's name, category, All India Rank in the NEET PG exam, scores, state rank, etc. Candidates included in the state merit list are provisionally eligible for the J&K NEET PG counselling.
Step 3: Choice Filling
Candidates included in the state merit list are required to fill in their choices for colleges and courses they wish to be admitted to. They can declare their preferences online and must lock their choices within the given deadline. Once the choices are locked, they cannot be modified.
Step 4: Seat allotment
The counselling authority allocates seats based on the choices filled by candidates, NEET PG rank, availability of seats, and reservation criteria. A separate result is released for each round of counselling, with a total of three rounds, including a mop-up round for J&K NEET PG admission. After seat allotment, candidates must report to their respective allotted institutes for document verification and to complete other admission formalities.

College, course and category all affected the NEET PG 2023 All India Quota (AIQ) cut-offs. In government medical colleges, the respected MD Radiodiagnosis and MS General Surgery courses had ranking positions in the top 1,000. In particular, certain government-run medical colleges stopped MS Surgery at any score above 150 in the AIR exam. Some colleges and reservation categories saw MD Emergency Medicine and MD Pathology ranking as low as AIR 6,000, while others had lower closing ranks, as high as AIR 20,000. All the leading institutions reported high competition for the clinical cut-offs.

If you made a mistake in the registration number but uploaded the correct permanent registration certificate with the right number, usually your form won’t be rejected.
The certificate you uploaded is the key proof. However, to be safe, you should contact the NEET PG helpdesk or the exam authority and inform them about the mistake. They can guide you on what to do next.

The key issue is whether this matches your ID proofs (Aadhaar, MBBS certificate, etc.). If the core characters are the same and it's just formatting (spaces or initials), it’s usually okay but guidance warns that mismatches between application and ID documents can lead to issues during verification
