    Karnataka PG medical eligibility criteria

    To apply for the Karnataka NEET PG 2026 admission process, candidates must fulfil the following eligibility criteria:

    • Nationality: Candidates must be Indian nationals only.

    • Domicile: Candidates are awarded a seat in Karnataka PG medical 2026 admission only if they are domicile of Karnataka state.

    • Educational qualification: A candidate must be graduated or in the final year of MBBS degree from a university recognized by MCI/DCI.

    • Internship: Candidates must have completed a 12 month rotatory internship within the specified date.

    • Registration: Candidates must have registered themselves with the National Medical Commission (NMC)/ state medical council or Dental council of India (DCI)/ state dental council.

    • Exam to be qualified: Candidates with qualified NEET PG or NEET MDS will be eligible for Karnataka PG medical 2026 admission.

    • Age limit: For In-service candidates the age limit is 48 years as on March 31, 2026.

After completing Doctor of Medicine (MD) in Pathology, you can appear again for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate if you have a valid MBBS degree and registration with the National Medical Commission.
