    The Chemistry section in NEET 2026 includes 45 questions, carrying a total of 180 marks. Students can use the answer key for Code 11, 13 to estimate their expected scores. To do this, they should follow the official NEET UG marking scheme set by the NTA while calculating their marks.

    Using the NEET Code 11, 13 answer key 2026 of Chemistry, students can estimate their score with this formula:

    NEET 2026 Chemistry Score = (Correct Answers × 4) - (Incorrect Answers × 1)

    For example: Correct answers = 35, Incorrect answers = 4, unattempted answers = 6

    Then, NEET 2026 Chemistry Score = (35 × 4) - (4 × 1) = 140 - 4 = 136 marks

    NEET 2026 Chemistry Paper Analysis

    The NEET 2026 Chemistry section was rated as moderately difficult by students and experts. Compared to previous years, the paper was easier and focused more on understanding concepts rather than simple memorisation. While the questions were based on the NCERT syllabus, many required logical thinking and application of concepts.

    In terms of sections, Inorganic Chemistry was easier, with most questions directly from NCERT and based on facts and trends.

    Organic Chemistry was more difficult and time-consuming, as it included tricky questions on reaction mechanisms. Physical Chemistry was of a moderate level, with numerical problems that tested conceptual clarity.

    The paper had a balanced mix of Class 11 and 12 topics. Important chapters included Coordination Compounds, GOC, Hydrocarbons, Thermodynamics, Equilibrium, and Solutions. A key highlight was the variety of questions. Assertion-Reason, statement-based, and match-the-column questions were common, making the paper more analytical and time-consuming.

    Yes, attempts are generally counted only when you actually appear for the exam and your paper gets evaluated. If you skip the re-exam/attempt and do not appear, it normally does not count as an extra attempt.

    With around 180 marks in NEET UG, getting a government MBBS/BDS seat is practically not possible because government cutoffs are much higher.

    But you can still get admission through:
    • Management quota in private medical colleges
    • Deemed universities
    • NRI quota (if applicable)
