NEET 2026 Safe Score for MBBS

If you’re aiming for an MBBS seat, it’s important to have a rough idea of what a safe score in NEET 2026 looks like, along with checking the cutoff. A safe score simply means the marks range where your chances of getting a medical seat are better. This can vary based on your category and the overall competition in the exam.

For a General category student who is searching for the NEET 2026 safe score for top government medical colleges, scoring around 650+ marks is usually considered a safer side, especially for All India Quota seats. If your score is between 500 and 600, getting into a private medical college or a deemed university is more likely. Since competition is increasing every year, the NEET cutoff may also go higher. So, the higher you score, the better your chances of securing an MBBS seat in a good college.
