    NEET Counselling 2026: Tamil Nadu Round 2 Adds 250 New MBBS Seats in 3 Colleges

    Tamil Nadu has added 250 new MBBS seats to the ongoing Tamil Nadu NEET 2026 round 2 counselling for the 2026-27 academic session. The new seats have been added following regulatory approvals from the National Medical Commission (NMC), competent authorities and the concerned university. The newly added seats are available directly in the ongoing Tamil Nadu NEET UG counselling 2026 round 2. The addition of 250 new MBBS seats allows eligible candidates participating in state NEET counselling 2026 of Tamil Nadu to add and modify choices for the newly included medical colleges.

    NEET Counselling 2026: 250 New MBBS Seats Added in Tamil Nadu

    A total of 250 MBBS seats have been added to three self-financing medical colleges in Tamil Nadu. Of the newly added 250 seats, 100 seats have been increased in existing MBBS colleges, while 150 seats have been added to the newly established college.

    Tamil Nadu NEET UG Counselling 2026 Round 2 Choice Filling

    The round 2 choice filling for Tamil Nadu MBBS admission 2026 can be done from September 9 to 13, 2026. Candidates participating in Tamil Nadu NEET UG counselling 2026 round 2 can now add the newly approved colleges to their choices. Candidates who have already submitted their choices are also permitted to edit, reorder and add choices for these medical colleges. This means candidates should review their existing NEET Counselling 2026 choice filling preferences and make changes if they wish to consider the newly added MBBS seats.

    The seat allotment for the newly added MBBS seats in Tamil Nadu NEET 2026 round 2 counselling will be conducted according to the existing counselling rules such as -
