The NEET PG 2026 registration has started on July 1, 2026. In the previous years, NBEMS has started NEET PG registrations around two months prior to the exam date. The NEET PG exam follows a long schedule which includes registration, correction window, city intimation slip, admit card release and then finally the exam. All these processes generally take up to 2 months and hence the first week of July 2026 looks like the ideal NEET PG 2026 registration start date.

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has tentatively scheduled NEET PG 2026 on August 30, 2026. The official information bulletin and registration dates are yet to be announced.

To be eligible for NEET PG 2026 registration, candidates must fulfill the following eligibility criteria.
Candidates must possess a valid MBBS Degree or a Provisional MBBS Pass Certificate from a medical college recognised by NMC.
Applicants must complete their one-year compulsory rotatory internship on or before September 30, 2026.
Candidates must hold a permanent or provisional registration certificate issued by the NMC or a State Medical Council (SMC).
Indian citizens, NRIs, OCIs, PIOs, and foreign nationals are all eligible to register.
Indian citizens or OCI candidates who graduated from foreign medical institutes must clear the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) screening test and must register with the NMC/SMC and complete their one-year internship.
