To participate in the admission process, aspirants will have to fill out the Maharashtra NEET PG 2024 application form. On the basis of the details filled in the application form, the state conducting authority will release the Maharashtra NEET PG 2024 merit list on the official website. Candidates mentioned in the merit list, will be called for Maharashtra PG medical counselling 2024, which will be conducted in two rounds followed by the mop-up round in the end.
During the counselling session, candidates need to fill their choice of course and colleges in the priority order. On the grounds of the choices filled by the aspirants, seat availability, NEET PG AIR rank and reservation, the admission process to 3,093 seats of Doctor of Medicine (MD), 1,623 seats of Master of Surgery (MS) and 66 PG Diploma seats will be granted. Candidates wishing to take admission in Maharashtra PG medical 2024 must fulfill the eligibility criteria. Aspirants must check the eligibility criteria given below.
Candidates should be Indian citizens. A Nationality certificate of the same shall be issued by the District Magistrate or additional District Magistrate or Chief Metropolitan Magistrate or valid Passport or School Leaving Certificate of HSC/12th Std. indicating the nationality of the candidate as “Indian” shall constitute the proof of nationality
NRIs are not eligible except for 15% NRI quota seats in unaided private/ minority medical colleges.
Candidates who are resident of Maharashtra and have obtained admission under 15% All India Quota/AIIMS/Central Government Institutions for MBBS course in the medical college situated outside Maharashtra as well as those who have obtained the degree from a University situated outside the State of Maharashtra will also be eligible for Maharashtra PG medical admission 2024. These candidates will have to submit a certificate from the Dean of the respective medical college and a certificate of Maharashtra State by virtue of residence.
Candidates must have an MBBS pass certificate from a college recognised by the Medical Council of India (MCI)only from the state of Maharashtra.
Candidates must have completed their compulsory rotatory internship on or before August 11, 2024.
Candidates must be medically fit.

Candidates filling the Maharashtra PG medical application form 2024 within the given time period will be eligible for 50% state quota seats. After the submission of the Maharashtra PG medical application form 2024, the registered aspirants will be required to report at the nodal centre to get their documents verified. Candidates with documents will be included in the Maharashtra PG medical 2024 merit list. Candidates must carry the below-listed documents at the time of document verification.

After submission of the Maharashtra PG medical 2024 application form, candidates will have to pay a non-refundable fee of Rs. 3000 in online mode through the payment gateway provided. Candidates should take printout of receipt of online fee payment for future use.
The authorities will be releasing the Maharashtra PG medical merit list in the form of PDF. A link of the same will be available on this page after release. The Maharashtra PG medical 2024 merit list will be prepared based on the NEET PG 2024 scores, seat availability, reservation, and other factors. In the merit list name of the candidates, All India rank, state merit rank, NEET PG scores, and testing IDs will be mentioned. Candidates included in the merit list will be called for the counselling process.
Maharashtra PG medical counselling 2024 will be conducted in two rounds followed by the mop-up round in the end. In the counselling process, the candidates will have to fill their college and course preferences. Authorities will grant admission to MD/MS/PG diploma courses on the basis of rank, filled preferences, and seat availability. Candidates with allotted seats will have to report the respective colleges for verification of the documents. Below given is the list of documents required to be carried for the verification.

To be eligible for the NEET PG exam , candidates must have completed their MBBS (or equivalent) degree by the time of the exam . the eligibility criteria require that the candidate should have completed their internship by the cut-off date specified by the National Board of Examinations (NBE) , which conducts NEET PG .
Since your provisional certificate was issued on February 20, 2024 , you need to ensure that you have completed the required internship and meet all other eligibility conditions by the designated cut-off date for NEET PG . You can check the exact cut-off dates for the specific year of the exam on the official NEET PG notification to confirm whether you are eligible to apply .

The NEET PG 2025 exam is expected to be conducted in March 2025 the usual pattern of being held in the first or second week of March . However, the National Board of Examinations (NBE) will release the official notification with the exact date closer to the exam . Keep an eye on the official website for updates .
