    How NEET MDS Rank-wise Allotment Works?

    The NEET MDS counselling authority prepares seat allotment lists based on several factors which includes candidate’s rank, category, availability of seats and choices filled. The most important factor is the candidate’s NEET MDS rank. The counselling process includes the following steps:

    • Registration for Counselling
      Candidates must first register on the NEET MDS official counselling website: mcc.nic.in by entering their exam details and personal information. Only registered candidates are allowed to participate in the seat allotment process.

    • Payment of Counselling Fee
      After registration, candidates need to pay the required counselling and security fee online. The payment confirms participation in the counselling rounds.

    • Choice Filling and Locking
      Candidates can select and arrange their preferred colleges and MDS specialisations in order of priority. Once satisfied, they must lock their choices before the deadline.

    • Seat Allotment Result
      The counselling authority releases the allotment result based on NEET MDS rank, category, seat availability and filled choices. NEET MDS seat allotment result is announced in PDF format at the official website.

    • Reporting to Allotted College
      Candidates who receive a seat must report to the allotted college within the specified dates. Candidates must complete document verification and admission formalities for seat confirmation.
