As per the schedule, the round 1 NEET UG counselling for state quota seats will begin from July 30 to August 6, 2025. The last date of joining is August 12. Along with the state counselling schedule, the MCC has also released the NEET UG 2025 counselling dates for All India Quota seats. The round 1 registration for All India quota including deemed and central universities can be done from July 21 to 28, 2025. The NEET state counselling will be conducted in four phases. The NEET state counselling 2025 is held for 85% state quota seats. Respective state counselling authorities are responsible to conduct the counselling process. The state counselling of NEET UG 2025 will have four phases - namely Round 1, Round 2, Round 3 followed by Stray Vacancy round.
The round 1 NEET UG state counselling will be done from July 30 to August 6, 2025. Respective state counseling authorities release the dates for NEET UG counselling separately. Candidates who are allotted seats in round 1 state counselling process can join and report to their respective colleges till August 12. Candidates who do not join the allotted college will be eligible to participate in the Round 2 counselling.
Round 2 of NEET state counselling will be conducted from August 19 to 29, 2025. As per the schedule released by MCC, the last date of joining is September 4. However, candidates who participate in round 1 need not to register again. The shortlisted candidates whose names are mentioned in the seat allotment need to submit documents and admission fee to confirm their seat.
The NEET state counselling for round 3 can be done from September 9 to 18, 2025. The last date of joining is September 23 and verification of joined candidates will take place on September 24. Candidates who are participating for the first time have to register, pay the fee and fill the choices on or before the last date. The respective state counselling authorities release the seat allotment result separately.
After round 3 seat allotment, the counselling authority conducts the stray vacancy round. The NEET counselling dates for stray round will be September 25 to 29. Candidates who are mentioned in the seat allotment result have to report and join the allotted colleges on or before the last date to confirm their admission.
