The NEET counselling 2025 is being conducted for admission to undergraduate medical and dental courses across India. The state counselling for NEET UG 2025 is held separately for 85% State Quota seats. The authority has released the round 3 revised NEET state counselling 2025 schedule. The round 3 NEET state counselling can be conducted from October 10 to 27, 2025.

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has started the registration process for NEET PG 2025 Round 3 counselling today, January 15. Candidates can complete the registration by January 26, until 4 pm.

The state NEET counselling is conducted in three rounds followed by the stray vacancy round. The NEET counselling is separated into two parts namely All India Quota (AIQ) and State Quota. The All India Quota, comprising 15% of seats in top government medical colleges, is led by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). The remaining 85% State Quota seats are managed by respective state counselling authorities. The counselling process of 85% State Quota seats is provided below.
To participate in the NEET UG counselling, NEET qualified candidates need to visit the official websites of the respective states and fill in their details as asked by the authorities. To complete the registration process, aspirants have to pay the required counselling fee to complete the application process. The login credentials generated during the registration process must be saved for further process.
Registered candidates must log on to the respective counselling websites by entering their credentials. During the NEET choice filling process, candidates need to fill in their preferred choices of courses and colleges as much as they can to increase their chances of getting a seat in the medical and dental courses in the respective states . Candidates can also modify the options on or before the locking period.
The seat allotment of NEET UG is done on the basis of merit list, choices filled by the candidates, reservation criteria and seat availability in the participating colleges. The state counselling authorities release the seat allotment result PDF for each round individually on their respective state medical council websites.
After receiving the allotment, candidates who are allotted seats have to report to the designated colleges along with requisite documents to complete the admission process within the given dates. In case of non-reporting at the allotted college, the admission will be cancelled.

Class 10th or SSLC certificate as proof of birth date
Class 12th marksheet
Aadhaar card
PwD certificate
Community certificate (for SC/ST candidates)

Any other document/certificate asked by the authority
