    The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) for the year 2024 on May 5, 2024. As per the Supreme Court’s order, the NEET UG 2024 revised results were declared by the authority on July 26, 2024.

    The authority released revised NEET 2024 centre and city wise results at exams.nta.ac.in/NEET. According to the data released by the NTA, the cities with the highest proportion of students scoring more that 600 marks out of 720 were Sikar in Rajasthan, Namakkal in Tamil Nadu, Kottayam in Kerala, Kota in Rajasthan, Tanuku in Andhra Pradesh and Jhunjunu in Rajasthan.

    The revised NEET 2024 result revealed a notable decrease in the number of NEET toppers, dropping from 61 to 17. Initially the NTA announced the NEET result on June 4, 2024, followed by a result on June 30 for 1,563 candidates who were given grace marks due to time loss. a total of 23,33,162 students appeared for the NEET 2024 examination. According to the revised data, the number of qualified students now stands at 1,315,853, down from the previous count of 1,316,268.
