The NEET PG round 3 registrations closed at 2 PM on January 31, 2026. Candidates can fill their preferred choices of colleges and courses till February 2, 2026. The choice locking can be done from 8 PM of February 1, 2026.

During Round 3 of NEET PG 2025 counselling, candidates must carefully fill and prioritise their choices of College, Course (MD/MS/PG Diploma), Category and quota. Some important points to remember regarding the round 3 choice filling and locking are -
Choices can be added, rearranged or deleted before the locking deadline
Failure to lock choices may result in automatic locking as per MCC rules
Locked choices are considered final for Round 3 seat allotment
Once the choice filling window closes, MCC will conduct the seat processing for Round 3 seat allotment for NEET PG. The allotment result will be published online on mcc.nic.in. Once the seat allotment result is out, candidates need to download their round 3 seat allotment letter and report to the allotted college within the stipulated time. Only after complete document verification and admission formalities, the admission will be considered final.
Candidates reporting after Round 3 allotment should keep the following documents ready:
NEET PG 2025 admit card and scorecard
Allotment letter from MCC portal
MBBS degree certificate / provisional certificate
Internship completion certificate
Permanent or provisional registration certificate
Valid photo ID
Category certificate (if applicable)
Seats remaining vacant after Round 3 of NEET PG 2025 counselling may be carried forward to subsequent rounds in accordance with MCC guidelines. Candidates who are allotted a seat in Round 3 are expected to join the allotted institute within the prescribed timeline and complete the admission formalities. Further instructions regarding the conduct and schedule of stray vacancy rounds will be notified separately by the Medical Counselling Committee on its official website.
