The NEET UG 2026 exam was successfully conducted by the National Testing Agency on May 3, 2026. Students can check the answer keys to evaluate their performance. As per student feedback, the Biology section was comparatively easier and more scoring than Physics and Chemistry. Because of this, Biology is expected to play a major role in deciding the final rank of candidates. To help students, the NEET 2026 Biology answer key for code 12, 14 has been provided here.
The NEET 2026 exam was conducted across 552 exam centres in India and 14 centres abroad. After downloading the answer key, candidates can calculate their expected scores by following these steps:
Match your answers with the ones given in the answer key.
Count how many answers are correct.
Count how many answers are incorrect.
Use the NEET marking scheme to calculate your score.
For every correct answer: +4 marks
For every incorrect answer: -1 marks
For any unanswered / multiple answers: 0 marks
To calculate your expected marks, use the formula below:
NEET Score = (4 × Number of Correct Answers) - (1 × Number of Incorrect Answers)
For example, if you got 80 correct answers and 10 wrong answers in Biology:
Score = (4 × 80) - (1 × 10) = 320 - 10 = 310 marks
After calculating your expected marks, the next step is to estimate your rank. Candidates can use tools like the Careers360 NEET rank predictor. This tool helps predict your All India Rank (AIR) based on your expected score.
Candidates just need to enter their calculated probable NEET 2026 marks, and the tool will show an estimated rank range based on previous years’ trends. While it may not give the exact rank, it provides a good idea of where a candidate stands.
Once candidates have their estimated rank, they can use a college predictor tool to explore possible admission options. The NEET 2026 college predictor helps students find out which medical colleges they might get into based on their rank. This tool uses past counselling data to suggest a list of colleges where students have a chance of admission. It can be very helpful when filling choices during NEET counselling, as it allows you to make better decisions.
