    The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the NEET UG 2026 on May 3, 2026 in offline mode. NEET 2026 paper codes will be out once the exam is concluded. As per last year’s NEET paper codes, there will be 4 codes. The exact NEET 2026 paper codes will be updated here after the exam. Candidates can use the answer key as per their NEET 2026 paper codes to calculate their expected score.

    NEET UG 2026 Exam LIVE: NTA new dress code for male and female; advisory on biometric verification

    As per the NEET 2026 dress code, candidates must follow a simple dress code.

    • Male students: Wear light, half-sleeve clothes with simple trousers. No shoes—only slippers or sandals.
    • Female students: Wear simple, light clothes like half-sleeve tops or kurtis with plain bottoms. No shoes—only slippers or sandals.

    Both should avoid jewellery, watches, caps, and any metal items.

    What Are NEET 2026 Paper Codes?

    NEET 2026 paper codes are unique identification numbers assigned to different sets of question papers. NEET 2026 paper codes can be either alphabets with 6 subsets or number series. Last year, the National Testing Agency (NTA) introduced a number-based paper code system for the first time (such as 46, 47, 48, 49 etc.). Before this, NEET used alphabet-based NEET question paper codes like A, B, C, and D with 6 different subsets.

    Yes, NEET is not mandatory for admission to Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) and Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (BOT) for the academic year 2026-27. However, from 2027-28 session, NEET UG will be compulsory for admission to BPT course.
