Controversies related to NEET exam footwear guidelines

The NEET footwear restrictions has emerged as a crucial topic among the students. The footwear restrictions in NEET exam halls raises important questions about student comfort and unnecessary stress on the aspirants. At times, NEET aspirants are being asked to remove shoes before entering the examination centre and write barefoot. This move has been criticised by both students and educators. However, the rationale behind these footwear restrictions is to ensure uniformity and discipline among the students. With NEET footwear policy, candidates are less distracted and their focus remains on performance and not on personal choices. The plain slippers and sandals with thin soles are only allowed in the NEET exam. The footwear plays an important role in physical comfort and enforcing strict restrictions may affect the permanence of students during the exams.

Have a question related to NEET ?

Hello there,

For B.Sc. Anesthesia Technology , NEET or EAMCET is generally not required . Most colleges offering this course do not have entrance exams like NEET or EAMCET specifically for B.Sc. Anesthesia Technology.

However, you may need to fulfill some basic eligibility criteria, such as:

  1. Completion of 12th grade with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as the main subjects.

  2. Some institutions may have their own entrance exams or merit-based admissions.

  3. You will need to check the specific requirements of the college you're interested in.

So, NEET or EAMCET might not be mandatory for this course, but it's best to confirm with the particular institution you wish to apply to.

Hii

Yes you can wear bottle green plain tshirt but I want you to prefer non pocketable lower but Yes, you can wear trousers with two pockets on the NEET examination, provided they are simple and do not have any bulky features or zips.

Thanks

Hello Apurva,

If you have received marks only in Biology and belong to the SC category , the NEET exam evaluates your overall performance, which includes marks from all three subjects: Physics , Chemistry , and Biology . It is not possible to pass the exam with marks in only one subject.

Regarding your question about the minimum marks required to qualify for NEET as an SC category candidate, it varies each year depending on the difficulty level of the exam and the number of candidates appearing . However, on average, candidates from the SC category generally need around 120-150 marks out of 720 in the NEET exam to be considered for qualifying.

The cut-off marks for SC candidates may fluctuate yearly, but you should aim for a score higher than the general trend to secure a seat in government medical colleges. Always check the official updates for the exact cut-off after the exam.

Hi apurva

As 300 marks is qualifying marks for neet ug and the bio portion and if you score 360 marks in bioportion you can qualify but it is not good for admission in redeemed institutes. But as sc caste you can try your luck in state college if seats are not filled.

Thanks
