The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the Re NEET UG 2026 OMR sheets and recorded responses on July 13, 2026 at the official website neet.nta.nic.in. Candidates can now download their scanned OMR answer sheets by logging in using their application number and password, and verify their responses. Students who find any discrepancy in the NEET OMR sheet 2026 responses can challenge it online till July 15, 2026 by paying a non-refundable fee of Rs.200 per question. Along with the OMR sheet, NTA has also released the NEET UG 2026 provisional answer key. Candidates can compare their marked responses with the official answer key to estimate their scores. Using the NEET 2026 answer key and OMR sheet together helps students get an approximate idea of their expected percentile and rank before the official result announcement.
To calculate the score of NEET 2026 based on the recorded responses in the OMR, candidates are required to follow the marking scheme of NEET UG as set by the NTA. For every correct answer, students receive 4 marks, while 1 mark is deducted for every incorrect answer. No marks are deducted for unanswered questions.
NTA has also opened the NEET UG 2026 OMR challenge facility for candidates who want to challenge the grading of responses. If students find any discrepancy in their recorded responses or OMR evaluation, they can submit objections online.
Candidates need to pay a non-refundable processing fee of Rs. 200 per question challenged. The objections submitted by students will be reviewed by subject experts appointed by NTA. If the challenge is found correct, the necessary changes will be reflected in the final answer key and result.

Based on previous trends and exam difficulty level, the expected NEET 2026 cutoff for the general category is likely to remain above 160 marks for qualification. However, admission to top government MBBS colleges may require significantly higher scores. The final cutoff will be released along with the NEET 2026 result.
